Freya* earned her CKC WC title!!

The WC test was held on July 18 by the National Specialties of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Club of Canada.

It was very hot but we survived! Lol

Freya* & I tried another SDDA Elite trials this past weekend and I’m still so thrilled!! Yes, she now is an Elite dog!!

On Sat, she qualified Container and Exterior but I messed up in Interior. In the first room after finding 2 hides, she looked she was done and she surely was right, but I made her search more and sent her to one particular corner where the distractor was. Her behaver was not totally for a hide but I decided to call “Alert”. It was totally my boo-boo 🤦‍♀️ lol So no title on Sat.

On Sun, it was just a fun day!! Not only because she qualified all for her Elite title but I started enjoying trialing with her!! I was always nervous before/during trials but I even told some people before the Sun trial started that I couldn’t wait to come back for another trial. I was like a little kid. I couldn’t sleep because of the excitement, it didn’t matter how we would do but just wanted to try it again!!😃

Thank you very much, the lovely host, Scent Masters and all the volunteers and the wonderful judge, Lou-Anne Lambert for such fun trials and great venue!!

Thank you always, Fay OLoughlin!! I doubted if we could reach this high level but we did it because of your help!! My goal in Scent Detection has changed since lol. Because I am really having fun now, I’ll do more trials and see how far we can go!!

Freya* and I had a great weekend at the SDDA Scent detection trials!

She earned three titles, SDDA Speed, Game Champion and Master Champion titles and received 3 gorgeous rosettes 🥰

We also attempted the SDDA highest level, Elite for the very first time. She didn’t earn her Elite title but did awesome!! Only one hide missed because of me and she qualified two components out of three.

It was a fun weekend!!

Caia & PKC (Prince Charming x Freya), 7.5 months old had their first regular shows this past weekend, both in Jr Puppy class (6-9 months) and came home with a few points towards their Championship!!

Very exciting that PKC even won Best of Breed from Jr Puppy class on Saturday, the total of 6 entries including 2 Specials on that day!! Wow Wow!!!

Nov 4 & 5, 2023 achievements!

Freya, Can BPISS Can/Am GCh Blacklace Opal Goddess of Fire VB SDIN SDE SDX SDC JH Am TKN Can/Am DN RN SDDA SD-E SD-GD SD-GA SD-CH (SDDA pending approval) earned her SDDA Champion on Saturday and added her 5th Advanced title towards her Master Champion on Sun!!

This past Sunday’s achievement - Jul 23/23 Conformation show - Baby Puppy

Caia from our Asahi litter (Opalisle Sunrise Princess of Fire) won Best Baby Puppy in Group & Best Baby Puppy in Specialty show and came home with her 1st & 2nd big rosettes 🥰

It was her very first showing as she just turned 4 months old on Jul 22!!
