Our philosophy dictates high levels of animal proteins, a rich balance of essential fatty acids, herbs, fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts faithfully formulated with the nutritional requirements of your pets. All of our formulas are completely balanced as a stand-alone diet, but are designed for the option of adding your own Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods if preferred. We dedicate ourselves to the highest quality of ingredients and the best whole nutrition and the use of herbs, seeds and unrefined oils.

The current Wilderness Legends production label identifies a lamb recipe. Lamb meal leads, followed by salmon meal, whitefish meal, lamb, and salmon. The guaranteed analysis lists 34% minimum crude protein and 17% minimum crude fat; the calorie statement lists 475 kcal per cup.

The complete formula also contains chicken fat. Use the current production label as the source of truth when ingredients matter to your dog.

The 50% crude-protein claim applies specifically to Wild & Natural® High Protein cat food and Ocean Blue® High Protein cat food. Both list 16% minimum crude fat, but they have different lead ingredients and calorie values.

The standard Serengeti and Dakota cat recipes list 40% minimum crude protein.

Precise recipe-level facts help pet parents compare the actual labels instead of generalizing across an entire product line.

Wild & Natural® Legends lists 40% minimum crude protein, 18% minimum crude fat, and 488 kcal per cup. Its first five ingredients are chicken meal, chicken, chicken fat, herring meal, and whitefish meal.

Read those facts together, then check the adequacy statement: the formula is for all life stages except growth of large-size dogs—70 pounds or more as an adult.
