Another one of our former rescues that was introduced to snow for the first time. This is Luna (formerly known to us as Cannoli). She was adopted from us in 2022 and as you can see, she has found happiness. Luna had a blast playing in the snow with her two favorite boys. Thank you for not only sharing this sweet update but for also giving Luna a chance at a happy life and for loving her!

It’s a magical day for Magic Mike, he has been adopted!! Magic Mike met his human yesterday evening and it ended up being a great fit. So happy for this little guy that he found his FURever home!🐾❤️

Another one of our former rescues that enjoyed the snow days! This is Ruby (formerly Merida) that was adopted from us in June of 2023 having a great time in all that white stuff. Keep sending us your updates, we love seeing them.

Look at this sweet girl. This is Costa aka Beezus that was adopted from us in August of 2019. This is now her 3rd time in the snow. She has seen snow in Pennsylvania, Utah and now Louisiana. Costa loves the snow and gallops in it like a snow bunny. Since adopting Costa, her family has added to littles and they say Costa is the best baby guardian. Costa is so very loved and her human says she is the bestest girl. Appreciate the update and love how happy Costa is.❤️

How about making your heart melt on a Friday afternoon! Look at JJ (our sweet survivor Survi) enjoying his snow day with his favorite human. We are all so amazed at how much of a transformation this guy has made. Look at what love looks like.

Again, huge thanks from everyone that donated to help this guy have a shot at a normal life and whom still continue to follow him. I assure you he is living his best life and ended up right where he needed to be.❤️❄️🐾

Well this little cutie we rescued many years ago (approximately 9-10) and with her heart condition, she wasn’t expected to live but a few months! Brûlée has beaten all odds and has outlived expectation getting to enjoy the biggest snow storm we have ever had. Such a precious picture of this little miracle in the snow!❄️🐾

Mirabel, one of our previous bottle fed rescues trying to decide what is the cold fluffy white stuff on the ground. If you can’t tell by her look, she didn’t like it! This kind of stuff isn’t supposed to happen in Louisiana. Keep the snow pictures coming, we would love to see them!

Yesterday was a great day for our little guy Axel, he has found his FURever home! And just like that, he has a new brother too, Bruce. Hope Bruce is ready for this little spitfire. As always things work out just as planned as we couldn’t have found a better home for Axel. Happy life sweet guy, you’re going to be so loved.❤️🐾

Meet Magic Mike, our newest rescue. This little guy was hanging out close to the corner of Old Hammond & Airline going in and out of the wooded area. Our amazing team member, Doug was able to set a trap and catch him allowing him to be safe and out of the freezing temperatures.

Magic Mike is ready to dance all over YOUR house if you adopt him. He is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs in at a whopping 9lbs. He has been neutered, is house broken, heart worm negative and rides great in the car. He has gotten along with every other dog we have exposed him to. Don’t forget to take care of those fur babies during the fireworks that will start going off this evening, tomorrow and possibly the next few days. Make sure your baby has on a collar with contact information, fences shut and secure and if you have to take your baby out please put on them on a leash/lead and walk with them. A lot of pups are frightened by the loud noises and the colorful bursts in the sky that so many go missing this time of year. Be smart and safe!

Look who’s ready to find his FUREVER home! Axel is approximately 2-3 years of age we tink and is heart worm negative. He has picked up on potty training and has had no accidents. He is kennel trained as well. Axel always wants to be right next to you at all times, he is such a snuggle bug. He is good with other dogs big and small but he does need a chill house because he is fearful of new things, people and noises. No children due to his size and fear of loud noises. Our amazing leader & one of her best friends here at Bark and Roll wants to share a good tip for taking your pets out for potty time in the snowy/icy grass. We are not at accustomed to these conditions and the majority of our furry friends tend not to enjoy their paws being wet. Stay warm and safe friends and we cannot say it enough…..BRING YOUR PETS INSIDE.

We’re so very happy to see how well Survi is doing BUT so sad that this incredibly sweet guy has not been adopted. Survi is our guy that was found all matted and underneath that nothing but skin and bones. So many of you donated to his care and just look at him now. We need your help again, help us find Survi a good home. He is around a year old and as you can see very happy and playful. He is very loyal and loves to cuddle too. Survi was left all alone and it’s a miracle he survived, he truly deserves to be loved and is ready to accept love. Survi Update

A little happiness and Survi update on this Wednesday morning. Survi has been checked out by the vet and didn’t have to be admitted to their hospital for any overnight stay. He only weighs in at 27 lbs and should be around 50-60 lbs. Blood work looked pretty good, he is heart worm negative, has a nasty ear infection and intestinal parasites. We will continue his feedings every 3-4 hours. He is on crate rest so he doesn’t burn too many calories as we start to build up his body mass. He is getting little potty breaks and crate snuggles every 2-3 hours after meals. We would like to thank everyone that has donated, sent checks, shared his story and prayed for Survi. You guys were able to cover his medical testing and current medicines. He still has a long way to go but on the right path now for sure. We have tried to thank each one of you personally so sorry if we missed a few. PayPal wouldn’t allow us to thank you in their app. You have restored our faith in humanity. Survi is a happy guy and along with us he wants to say thank you for your giving hearts, just look at that happy tail. We will continue to update on his progress throughout his journey.
