Desperately lookinf!! BROWN tabby with white, obese cat who needs meds got out of her tent at the Lebanon KOA campground in Maine. Owners are heartbroken. Please keep eyes opened and ears peeled for any sighting or word of this cat. She is seriously fat, so should stick out like a sore thumb at any colonies. Please call me or PM me if you know anything about her. She is well loved.

Many many thanks to those who donated for Panther's vet bills. He was pretty badly infected, but is home, in jail, not allowed out for two weeks. What's a fun loving and now neutered Tom Cat to do. Couldn't do this kind of rescue work without you all, and I'm very sure this infection would have killed him.

Need some help with vet bills. Got a call from near Bakers Lake about a semi feral cat who has adopted a nice older couple. He has a terrible abscess on his cheek, and is still intact, so we will neuter him as well. I'm not showing photos as it is very infected and quite gross. He is a young kitty maybe 2 years old. Caregiver is contributing what they can afford, SCAPS paid for his exam, but we are still 500 short. Any help is greatly valued!! Paypal is [email protected]

Was called by Franklin Police department to assist with emaciated grey cat someone found under porch on School Street. Cat is very week, very thin, but not noticeably sick or injured, and is very friendly, likes to be petted.

Picked up an emaciated orange and white neutered male long haired cat in Northwood a couple days ago. . Homeowner called when she saw him, thought he needed help, and is allergic so couldn't bring him in. Vet says he is blind, starving and old, but if we can put weight on him, he should make it. He was very matted but obviously not feral. Not microchipped, but happy to be held and petted.

Firefly Pottery in Portsmouth on Mirona Road is having a fund raising evening on 16 Feb to Benefit Those Cat Rescue People and FuRRR. The tickets are $10, plus whatever you chose to paint, refreshments will be served. People who bring cat food will get a free pottery piece to paint. This is a great opportunity to support two awsome rescues!!!

When it rains, it pours. I dragged myself out of my recovery bed to pick up a sick kitten. Heart murder and anemic, just finding out if he can recover is 700. Everyone has been so generous in the past I hate to ask again but I'm hoping this kitten will just need supportive care to recover. If you can help, please venmo to Those cat-rescue people.

Unfortunately the cost of providing a refuge for kitties has been costing more than we take in in donations, and this is one of the reasons we won't be accepting any more surrenders. Happy to provide a list of rescues we trust if you need to rehome a cat.

Update: Noname (now grady) surgery went fantastic. He's feeling so much better, he's even letting me pet him!

Monroe's teeth were much worse than initially thought, with active infections, and He's doing hugely better just two days after his surgery. He's grooming himself again, and actually eats a whole can of food when he's offered one. Not bad for the old 13 year old man.

BOYO DID NOT TURN OUT TO HAVE THYROID DISEASE but the meds the vet gave hi. Have helped a great deal, and he is slowly gaining weight. He still has a way to go, but thanks to your generous donations, all 3 are doing much better!!
