I know it's hard to see the green poking up but I promise it's there! My phone camera is acting up so excuse that mess on the left of the screen.
This is finally going to be my garlic year, I can feel it. Better be. I'm struggling to recall how
many I planted but I think it's around the 200 mark. I've seriously never been successful but I watched numerous videos, tried all the things, and here we are. Still a long way to go but I'm hopeful π
It really does seem like there is a use for everything!! I have been reading that avocado pit infused in alcohol or witch hazel can provide instant pain relief for joints. Curious if anyone has tried it??!! I'm whipping up a batch today. Crushing the skin was fun (although I don't know what I am going to do with it), next to cut up the pits, infuse it for a few weeks, then I will report my findings back.

I bought this tiny Myer Lemon tree really not expecting it to do much but here we are! So many blooms that I had to remove more than half. The tree literally couldn't support the weight if they all reached maturity.
Right now there are 17!!! π€¦π€¦π€¦
This is super fun to watch grow. Perfect indoor or outdoor project and hopefully some delicious lemons.
***HOWEVER it takes patience. Lemons can take up to 9 months to mature. Sound familiar?

Big ol bumblebees all around the farm right now! What remedies did you try growing up for bee stings? We did bacon fat applied to the sting. Probably not the most sanitary thing to do but we survived π
.
Sharing is caring, especially with this recipe!
It's that time of year when bugs look at you like you are snack waiting to be bitten into. I have something for that! Stop putting poisonous chemicals on your skin π€¦π«π. Instead try Marigold and essential oils to repel bugs- your skin will thank you!
Check out the video for more info. A picture of the recipe I created will be in the comments. It does take some planning because you have to make Marigold oil HOWEVER you have the entire summer to start drying and saving the flowers to process the oil or you may be able to find some online. I only saved enough for this season but I plan to process and make oil to sell this fall π
***PLEASE use caution if you have skin sensitivity or other medical conditions ie pregnancy/nursing. I'm in no way trained to advise what you should or shouldn't use but I can say that I have sensitive skin and this works wonderfully for me. (I stopped using majority of lotion and perfumes because it agitates my skin).
