I’d love to take this time to introduce my assistant- ⭐️ Stacey ⭐️
We first met a few years ago when she brought her two fur babies to me for grooming! She always expressed her interest in learning, and finally 6 months ago we started to make that happen!
Stacey is the reason my day goes by so smoothly and I am so thankful for her love and passion for dogs. She helps with bathing, drying, brushing, check ins/outs, and keeping the energy of the shop lifted. Stacey has a wonderful personality and I love having her vibrant spirit at the shop with me, even when times are stressful and the p**p lands in her pocket (true story 🤣) she continues to smile and laugh.

When she’s not at the shop giving luvins to your babies, she’s at home loving on her own babies! She has a toy poodle named Jenga, and a poodle mix named Bowser. She is also an extremely talented painter, and often does commissioned paintings for pets, if you are ever interested just ask!

I am sure most of y’all have seen her beautiful smile at the shop already, but if not, make sure to say Hi!

These two brothers just melt my heart 💗 Coco & JJ. They were both brought home as puppies at 8 weeks old but are not from the same breeder! love that idea! 🥰🥰🥰
If you’re wondering, when a family of dogs come in, I do try to keep them together throughout the whole process. Not pictured here is each of them laying by my foot while the other gets groomed. Just precious 🥰💗

Hello everyone! I have not taken the time to introduce myself lately and as I’ve been growing and seeing so many new people I thought it would be a great time to do so!

My name is Krista, I am the owner of Raleigh Grooming Co.
I began my career with dogs in 2012 when I started working as a bather in a grooming salon and totally fell in love! I learned to groom while living in Boston, and 5 years ago moved to Raleigh where I took a leap and started grooming for myself. Many of you have been with me since my very early start, and it’s been so amazing to have that support while I learned what it meant to be a business owner.
I am blessed beyond words to have opened the grooming salon of my dreams, and it’s even more amazing to have so many people follow me or try me for the first time! As a dog owner, I understand how scary it can be to leave your dogs with someone, and I try to make each grooming experience relaxing and fun.
When I am not grooming, I am spending time with my two dogs, Darla (Pit X) and Dozer (Boston Terrier). We love our daily walks and park visits, and also cuddling up to some Seinfeld on those rainy days.
When we find time in our busy schedules, me and my partner love to travel! It is my biggest joy in life to visit new places and cultures. This past year we visited Germany, Netherlands, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, and have also done a month long road trip through some National Parks!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me more. I look forward to meeting so many new faces and also growing our already established relationships. Thank you for trusting me with your family 🐾🐶

Today marks one month of Raleigh Grooming Co. being open! What a thrill it has been to make this dream come true. And to have met so many new people and dogs in just this short amount of time! Thank you to everyone who has followed me over the past few years and to everyone new who trusted me with their babies! All appreciated and not taken lightly.

Opening a business has been extremely eye opening. It’s hard. It’s a lot of work, physically, mentally- during the renovations, and now during the opening process. Still working to improve our space little by little! If you haven’t seen the early posts on this instsgram page of the journey of renovating this space into what it is, please check it! It’s mindblowing to see!

Double Trouble 😈 Winnie and Jack are the cutest brother sister pair! They came in for their very first puppy Intro Trim! Intro trims are so important because we take our time to introduce all the basics without it being overwhelming, so when it is time for their full cut in a few months, they are going to be PROS!

Today was the end of our THIRD week open! It has been such a fabulous experience. I have seen so many new doggies and also my special regulars 💗 In the past 3 weeks I have, with the help of my amazing bather of course, groomed 114 of your furbabies! WOW. I couldn’t believe it.

I look forward to growing these relationships even more 💗Thank you everyone who has supported me the past few weeks.

OH and of course this floofy pomeranian is Paisley!! She’s as sassy as she looks ✨
