This is our new friend Skip , he is a sweet little boy that is looking for a quiet home where he can be your constant companion.
Skip loves to run around the yard and hunt so a fenced yard is a huge plus ! Skip loves to go for walks and play tug o war , he gets excited about everyone he meets, best not around small children as they make him a bit nervous, he is affectionate on his terms and I'm told he does NOT like anyone touching his face or head, he would love to watch tv with you although he may sometimes bark at something on the tv. Skip is a healthy 8 years young, approx 22lbs, neutered, up to date on shots, he does have some allergies which will require a premium canned diet ,regular baths and grooming. He would prefer to be an only pet so he can have all the love and attention like he did with his senior owners. If you have a serious interest and can provide a wonderful forever home for Skip, please call Jackie 413-531-1241 or email [email protected]

Excellent vet references and pet history required, Westie/terrier experience preferred.

UPDATE - SKIP's ADOPTION IS PENDING !!

UPDATE !! A foster/afopt home for Winston is in the works ! A huge thank you to everyone that reached out wanting to help !!

URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED !!! This sweet little boy just came into rescue and before he can be placed in a forever home he needs to have all his veterinary needs taken care of. Winston is 8 years young, just the sweetest little boy that loves everyone he meets, enjoys the company of other dogs. great house manners and up to date on shots , will need frequent medicated baths and a special diet to help his current skin condition, the vets office is in Dartmouth, MA so foster must be able to drive him to his appointments. While in foster care WRNE covers all expenses . Foster will have first option to adopt this special little man . excellent vet references and dog experience required. If you are serious about fostering please call Jackie 413-531-1241 or email [email protected]

Please like and share to help Winston !! Thanks you !!

This is Me Now! 🐾
Woof! Charlie here, reporting for duty from my forever home!
Remember me? The sad pup who showed up at the shelter almost a year ago? Well, plot twist – I'm actually the HAPPIEST boy now! My foster moms were supposed to be temporary, but joke's on them because I'm never leaving. Foster fail? More like foster WIN!
Turns out I'm not actually a grumpy old man – I'm a lovable goofball who just needed the right humans who could figure out my secret: I speak Russian! "Sidet" means sit, "lapa" means paw, and "idi syuda" means come here. My moms learned my language just for me. Talk about dedication!
Life is pretty sweet now. I've got my baby sister Agnes (she's 2 and thinks she's the boss – adorable), two amazing moms, and a passport practically! We've been to Colonial Williamsburg, Florida, the Carolinas, New York, and all over Connecticut. I'm basically a travel influencer now.
My daily schedule? Sleep till noon (obviously), demand breakfast (did I mention I LOVE food?), play with Agnes, go for adventures, swimming, car rides, more food, cuddles, and repeat. When I'm really happy, I do my signature play bow with my butt in the air – it's my thing.
Sure, I bark like a German Shepherd trapped in a Westie body, and yes, I'm still stubborn as heck. But I'm healthy, happy, and living my best life as a 12-year-old who acts like a puppy again.
Thanks for not giving up on this old boy! 🥰❤️
Tail wags and happy wiggles, Charlie

Remember our friend Teddy? Teddy had spent many months in a NY shelter after living a life of neglect, he was in poor health and in serious need of TLC. Teddy has been in foster care with Susan Carr, Sue has been taking wonderful care of Teddy, helping him through his healing journey and giving him all the love and attention he truly needed. Teddy's skin has healed and he was able to be groomed, look at him now , a handsome little man living his best life !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

WRNE FRIENDS WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP !! This is our friend Teddy , he has been enjoying tlc in foster care for the last couple months and has been making great progress. Before coming to WRNE Teddy had spent 5 months in a shelter after being taken from a neglect situation . This sweet little man is a senior approx 11 years old , we think he's a terrier/ cocker spaniel mix at 33 lbs, he much prefers the company of men an loves a fenced in yard, he picks his toy of the day and when he's done playing and touring the yard he curls up in his cozy bed for a snooze. Teddy had a full check up and blood panel done, he was found to have low thyroid , an ear infection and arthritis, all being treated with meds and since he started the thyroid meds his fur is coming in nicely. Teddy gets along with other dogs (no children or cats please) . WRNE will pay all of Teddy's expenses he just needs another wonderful foster home or forever home for his golden years. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet little man please call Jackie 413-531-1241
