Learn about the up and coming sport HOOPERS.
Hoopers is great for dogs who can’t jump (puppies, seniors, past injured) and even handlers who can’t run full agility courses.

Hoopers is done by directing your dog through a course with hoops, tunnels and barrels while you stay within the handler box

Introduction to throwing ($80)
9:30-1pm

Throwing for handlers:
Learn key elements of a successful throw
Focus on proper throwing mechanics to improve your skills as a handler.
Practice several exercises and strategies to improve your throw for any skill level.
Discuss the game of toss/fetch and learn strategies to improve your score.

Freestyle ($150)
1:30-5:30pm

Class will be adjusted based on skill level of those attending. You will have one-on-one session with jenelle to work on any struggles or learn the foundations to new moves.

Keep your pet in shape without having to spend hundreds of dollars on equipment. Rent ours!

We are renovating our basement and will not be able to use our own equipment, rather than letting it stay cold unused, now is your chance to get those pups ready for spring trials and try out canine conditioning.

This is also a great way to try equipment before spending the money.

Equipment will be available from now until Feb 29th. Rental fee is $50 for any one or multiple piece of equipment (within reason) Rental fees are used to help purchase a dog walk, flyball box and restore our teeter and A frame

We are so proud of Carly! There are a lot of costs associated with travelling with a team, hotels, flights, food, extra baggage costs for equipment. Help offset that cost AND have a fun filled day with 4 different sport fun matches!

This 5 week class will cover the following:
-Introducting your dog to a disc, building drive, catching a disc
-how to throw a disc, backhanded throw and rollers

-introduction to freestyle

This seminar is HANDLERS only. Leaving the pets at home will ensure you can perfect your technique and understanding before bringing in your pet. 🐾

This Seminar will consist of multiple interactive fun games to help understand how our dogs learn and understand out queues. And cover the following topics:
-Reinforcement Quadrants
-Learning theory
-Training methods (Shaping, capturing, luring, mirroring)

This is geared towards new pet owners, those that want a deeper understanding on dog training and those looking to improve their communication with their pets.

I like to look at large animal training as you can’t use some of the same training techniques, you can’t use a collar correction on a whale.

Even as a trainer I’m always looking to improve my knowledge and find new ways to train and think of training. We’re at a seminar learning about the windows theory and applying it into our freestyle training.

How to teach Tunnel Do 90% of training around the tunnel! Going through the tunnel is east, but self control, handler changing directions and running to a reward are the valuable skills that will help you build a solid tunnel commitment!
