We are also collecting donations of blankets and towels for SRSA on the day, so welcome to bring along any of these items you might have.

Pre-walk registration at 9.30am for on leash walk starting at 10am.

Donations of R100 per sighthound family for the benefit of SRSA welcome on the day (if you are in the position to assist, otherwise welcome to just come and walk).

Another exciting addition to our GGGW 2024 is the opportunity to wine taste after the walk!

Yes, the Nitida tasting room is dog friendly. However, they have a small tasting room, so suggest that guests make a booking if they would like to come for a wine tasting after the walk. The tasting room is open for wine tasting from 11:00 to 14:30 on Sundays.

Please note the Tables serving options and note that the picnic tables on the outside of the restaurant would be excellent seating choices for sighthounds and owners/walk participants:
Breakfast is served from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and lunch is served from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm (until 3:00 pm on Sundays and public holidays). We regret to inform you that Tables does not offer brunch.

Alternatively, more casual options for picnicking on the grass outside the restaurant is available, but these need to be pre-purchased and booked by whatsapping Rosanne on 083 479 9722:

Thank you so much to everyone who came out yesterday and supported our walk (we were so incredibly lucky that the weather held!). The sight of all the wonderful sighthounds together was fantastic to see.

To those who donated to our raffle prizes, those who volunteered their time to help us set up and those who supported the raffle, we made just shy of R5000! R2500 will be donated to Sighthound Rescue SA and the remainder towards fencing for the Bella Rosa Dog park.

This was truly a Heritage Day to remember!
