❄️ Indoor Arena Hire – Now Available ❄️

With the colder weather upon us, we’ve received a high level of interest in arena hire recently. We’re happy to offer a limited number of indoor arena hire slots, providing a comfortable and reliable space to train throughout the winter months.

Availability:
🐎 Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm (1-hour slots)
🐎 Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
(1-hour slots)
Pricing:
💷 £45 per hour (per horse)
➕ Additional horses: £5 each

Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us to check availability and secure your booking. Payment is to be made in advance and we have a 24hr cancellation policy, without exceptions.

Job Opportunity: Sunday Grooms at Forest Oaks Equestrian

Forest Oaks Equestrian is seeking two Sunday grooms to join our dedicated team! You will have sole charge of the yard, and play a vital role in maintaining the high standards for which Forest Oaks is known.

Responsibilities:
* Undertake general yard duties with meticulous attention to detail.
* Care for and handle competition horses confidently and competently.
* Ensure the welfare and well-being of all horses.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the yard.

Requirements:
* Confidence in handling competition horses including stallions, is essential.
* Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
* Own transport is required due to our rural location.
* Demonstrated pride in work and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to our professional and supportive environment.

Due to recent sales horses finding their forever homes, we are delighted to offer a few very rare spaces for training livery at Forest Oaks 😍

Ellie has trained multiple horses from youngsters up to international Grand Prix, and prides herself on providing the horses with world class care. Each horse at Forest Oaks is treated as our own, and any individual needs are catered for. Our staff are professional, caring and dedicated to providing a top service.

3yo 16hh black gelding Van Olst homebred by Kjento x Ferro.

Pablo is the sweetest boy with heaps of potential to match. He’s been carefully produced and confidently hacks around large open fields and does pole work.

He is super easy to handle but a sensitive, forward going horse in the ridden work. Although he has never done anything nasty, he needs a quiet, confident rider to reach his full potential, so please no novices.

We have no doubt this lovely horse will go far in the right hands!

Available for vetting and trial in Lymington in the UK.

Belissimo M x Sandro Hit

Beau has had the same owner since 3 years old where he was found as a licensed stallion in the Oldenburg stallion auction.

He is trained with all the Grand Prix movements however he would be better suited to a junior/young rider looking to get some experience at the levels. Beau has competed internationally at small tour, is very straightforward to look after and also jumps and goes x-country and has even competed in hunter trials.

Whilst very laid back at home, he is however sharper at shows when not competed for a while so needs someone who doesn’t mind that.

Very easy to shoe, box, hack and clip.

Open to vettings, price will reflect some minor X-ray findings which are totally manageable and I am happy to be very open about.

Merlin has been professionally produced and bred by myself and my team. He has 3 fantastic paces with a huge ground covering walk and canter and has a character to match. He is a very uncomplicated and sweet horse who is a yard favourite!

Working novice/elementary at home and has competed in a young horse class last summer where he placed well and had lovely comments from the judges. This is a very difficult sale but he will make someone an amazing horse.

Lives in or out. Very easy to shoe, box, hack and clip.

‼️Important announcement‼️

Whilst we very much appreciate our followers, we would kindly like to ask that people STOP travelling to visit the yard. We are a private property with people living here and are NOT open to the public. It’s getting increasingly stressful to myself and my staff to have to send people away who have traveled from far(always parents with children who are then very upset), to then have them act angrily towards us when we turn them away. We quite literally have had hundreds of people do this since opening, even people walking in and going into our barns and touching the horses. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

Looking for a live in groom/yard manager

Your jobs would include but not be limited to;

•Looking after livery horses(mucking out, turning out, grooming, some riding, tacking up and occasionally preparing for shows)
•Communicating with livery clients on a daily basis
•Ensuring yard is tidy at all times
•Be a people person
•Work well with others and manage a team
•Be able to take initiative and responsibility
•Late night checks
•Must be able to confidently handle competition horses and breeding stallions
•Experience in a similar role required

•Must be over the age of 21
•Have a UK drivers license
•6 day working week
•No own horse

Forest Oaks equestrian is a 5* facility. This role offers very good opportunities for the right applicant and I’m looking for someone who will become a vital part of our team.
Full employment contract will be provided.
