“How lucky I am, to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” -Winnie the Pooh.

Last weekend we sadly said goodbye to our little miss Lottie, and helped her across the rainbow bridge, so she could run around like a lunatic teenager at the beach again. It feels only right to make a post in her honour, as she was the sole inspiration for starting ‘Poppins 4 Paws’. Lottie and her family have always been so supportive about the start-up of my pet sitting business and I couldn’t have asked for a better furry client (and best friend) to start the journey. This goldie lived the fullest life and brought so much happiness to everyone she met. She went through so much during her 16+ years but still pulled through on every occasion like the brave, strong (and miraculous) trooper she was. I’m so grateful and honoured that Lottie’s pawrents wanted me to assist and be part of this intimate and important time. Thank you for trusting me with her care over the years, she’ll always be family to me🌈 🤍🪽

Welcome to ‘Poppins 4 Paws’!

I’m Steph, a Registered Veterinary Nurse with an additional degree in Animal Behaviour. I decided to set up Poppins 4 Paws upon realising the increased need for in-house pet sitting and mobile pet care services.
I consider myself to have an immense level of empathy, kindness and patience, making me the pawfect companion for your furry family members. I can provide company, cuddles, snacks, exercise and administer medication for your pets while you are away, whether it be at work, or on holiday, all in the comfort of your own home. This minimises stress and continues to provide a consistent, familiar routine for your pets in your absence.
I am also able to provide 1-1 dog walks and short pop-in visits, with scope for providing some additional pet care services in the new year!

Due to my current commitment to an RVN role in Shropshire, I am only taking on clients who live locally for now, however, if you would like to enquire about potential pet-sits outside of Shropshire for long weekends, feel free to drop me an email to discuss this further!☺️

*This cutie is my pride and joy who I rescued from work when she was unfortunately abandoned and involved in a road traffic accident that resulted in a broken pelvis and femur. As you can see, being held really brings out her cattitude🤭*
