DOTTY REUNITED 🐾❤️🐾Now back home, funny how police being involved helps get stolen dogs home!
15th November 2023.
Lovely Message from Jose:
“We are all so happy!! We are crying tears of joy. All our family and friends love this dog. Thanks so much for all your help!!
She’s been reunited with her favourite sock!! 😊”.
Dotty’s microchip will be updated 🐾❤️🐾
We love a happy ending. thank you all.
DOTTY WAS HANDED OVER TO PREVIOUS OWNER BECAUSE HER MICROCHIP WAS NOT UPDATED WITH HER NEW FAMILY CONTACT INFORMATION 💔 Please don’t blame the family for not updating the microchip, there are many pitfalls and an extreme lack of help and advice.
Dotty went missing on 14th November 2023 from Coopers Lane, Grove Park, London, SE12 area.
She was taken to a veterinary clinic and they checked her microchip registration, which sadly hadn’t been updated. The previous owner collected Dotty and as yet has not returned her to her family.
She is a brown and white Springer Spaniel, neutered, microchipped.

Police are now involved and a Crime Reference Number issued. If you have any information please call them on 101 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800555111
It seems like a good time to remind everyone to check their own pet’s microchip registration is correct and up to date. https://petdatabase.com/doglost
If Jose’s vet, who he had been with for three years had checked or had advised Jose to check Dotty’s microchip registration this would never have happened.
