What a great hunt at Smoking Barrel Lodge in North Carolina
Michael and Aubrey are the best hosts ever.
Thanks again.

Smoking Barrel has 3 Shooting High Kennel GSP’s unfortunately they were all in training so I didn’t get to see them in action. I talked to one of the trainers from Wild Rose Kennel and he said they are coming along nicely.

We got to see some nice Lab work in the duck blind though.

If you want to take your wheeler but you’re already pulling your dog trailer or camper this might fulfill your needs.
I’m renting out my Truck UTV rack.
You will need a 3/4 ton or larger truck to put it in.
It’s easy to get in and out.

Milly is the Offspring of my stud Shooter and Shooting High’s Greta

Some might recognize Milly as the dog that was on the cover of Black GSP’s breed standard revision page.
Her owner was the spearhead to get the rules changed in AKC from only allowing liver GSP’S in the show ring to allowing Blacks and Livers to both compete.
Thank you for taking that up hill challenge on as it changed the AKC Rules in a very positive direction.

The evening before duck opener on my Wi property that I sold a few years ago. This is 1 minute. It Would go on until dark, I sure do Miss the duck hunting there.
