Looking for a new friend?
The holidays are a great time to introduce a dog to the family while everyone is home.
We currently have 3 girls available and our team can respond to your messages and questions over the break.

Little Tinsel was a brave wee girl at her vet visit today.
She has mange, ear infections, is covered in flea dirt and is only 9kgs.
She's now had a flea/tick/mite treatment, worm treatment, antibiotic ointment in her ears, NeoSoothe on her face and a nice, soothing bath.
She's tucked up on a comfy bed with a full tummy and a Teddy 🧸

As with every dog found roaming, we need to hold this precious pup for 7 days in case an owner comes forward.
However, we are not going to let her suffer and have had her to the vet today.
The lovely team at Fundraising for Impounded Dogs are collecting donations for her and the SPCA have also donated towards vet costs.
She is a sweet wee girl who we are determined to see healthy and happy.

UPDATE - Owner found and both dogs home in time for Xmas 🎄

Two dogs found today in separate parts of Waihi.
Please contact Hauraki District Council ASAP if yours - pound will be closing for pick ups on Tuesday.
No tags or microchips.

A huge thank you to Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue who literally save the lives of poundies from all over NZ.
This year our team drove dogs to airports in Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua to send them off on their freedom flights.

Ahhhhh, the fresh smell of freedom. 🌼
From a chained, backyard pup, to pound pup to a first day of freedom - little Echo is off on an adventure!
She is the smallest sister of Eddie and Murphy and possibly has some growth delays.
She was amazing on her road trip to Whakatane - taking in all the sights, sounds and smells like a champ.
After a sleepover she'll then board a plane and head off into the wonderful care of Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue .
