Our vet account is nearly empty.😪

We rely on fundraising to allow us to vet check and vaccinate our adoptable dogs, giving them the opportunity to get out and about and socialised while waiting for their new homes.

We are currently running a raffle, and are open to any other fundraising ideas!

Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue to our rescue again!! 🥰

Arthur was struggling in the pound and just needed more space and TLC, which is exactly what he now has.
Again, a massive thank you to everyone behind the scenes that make this possible, we are forever grateful for the amazing support.
Arthur flew out on Friday and is already settling in well.

MICROCHIP DAYS

This week at each HDC office - 2-4pm

Tuesday - Ngatea
Wednesday - Paeroa
Thursday - Waihi

Please LEAVE YOUR DOG IN YOUR CAR, pop into the office to pay.
You'll then be directed to the carpark area.
Bring your receipt and your dog.

Please:
Ensure your dog is on a lead at all times.
Keep a safe distance from other dogs and people.

If your dog is classified dangerous or menacing, is reactive or anxious please call the office and speak to the dog control team for alternative times.

Cost $35
The chip number will be added to the National Dog Database, available to all Councils nationwide.
You may choose to add it to the Companion Animals Database yourself.

Your dog must be registered for the current year with Hauraki District Council to be eligible.

No appointment necessary.

Now named RED, this lucky girl has found a lovely couple who adore her.
She's settling in so well and just loves getting out and about on adventures and following her new people around to check on what they're doing.

Fantastic, well organised event.
Ellie, Darcy and Arthur were super well behaved and had a great time meeting lots of people!

Adopting a rescue dog can come with challenges. Often their whole world has been turned upside down. They can be uncertain and need to learn to trust new people and a new environment.
The 3-3-3 rule is a great guideline to help navigate the first few days, weeks and months.
Kindness, patience and understanding are the best tools to build a lifetime friendship.

Out fingers are crossed for Domino and Panda who are both on trials 🥰
