8 week old Cattle x

Our little foodie litter had their first vet visit today and all passed with flying colours!

These sweet babies were sadly found being given away as “free puppies” on the side of the road last week. We stopped to offer the owners assistance, and thankfully they are now safe with us and looking for their forever families 💕

We have 3 beautiful boys:
Spring roll, Noodle & Wonton. 💙
And 4 sweet little girls:
Chicko, DimSim, Tofu & Dumpling. 🩷

Each one has their own cheeky, cuddly personality and are now ready to find families who will love them for life.

Our puppies come microchipped, vaccinated, wormed/flea & tick and with a discounted Desexing Voucher for later 🙌

Sahara’s long road ahead! 💔

Beautiful Sahara, the mum of our Desert Litter, is finally ready to begin her own journey to recovery. On her first vet visit with her puppies, Sahara sadly tested positive for heartworm. Heartworm is a deadly disease caused by mosquitoes and without treatment, it can be fatal.

No microchip, pregnant, heartworm positive and dumped in the bush… was she ever shown an ounce of love or care before rescue? Doesn’t seem like it.

To give Sahara the best chance at a happy, healthy life, we need to raise $2,000–$3,000 to begin her heartworm treatment, as well as cover her vaccinations, microchip, and desexing.

On top of this, we are still working hard to pay off the $3,000 vet bill from her puppy Victoria, who sadly passed away despite every effort to save her. 💔 we still have about $1400 left to go 😭

🥟 Tofu

Each one has their own cheeky, cuddly personality and are now ready to find families who will love them for life.

Meet Libya 💕
At just 9 weeks old, this sweet girl is the last of her litter still waiting to find her perfect home.

Libya is a large mixed breed pup with a gentle nature and plenty of love to give. She’s playful, affectionate, and ready to grow up surrounded by a family who will cherish her. 💖

💔 Our hearts are broken. Rest in peace Victoria 🥀🪦

Last week our little girl got unwell. She was taken in to see the team at NBVH. Staying most of the week on fluids. She was no better by Friday so we opted for surgery to see what was going on inside!

Victoria’s intestines had folded on themselves causing an internal blockage. In surgery, the vet did correct this. She was discharged on Saturday, only to go back down hill and be rushed back to the vet on Sunday morning.

Unfortunately an ultrasound found the intestines had folded back over and this would likely continue to happen. The area of which was affected was critical that couldnt be removed or fixed — and our vet’s hadn’t seen this before.

We received a referral for Townsville JCU and waited anxiously for their call in hopes they’d have a solution for our little girl.

JCU called this morning, but it was too late. Victoria didn’t have any fight left in her and passed away over night 💔

Rest easy baby girl. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever! 😭💔

Thank you to her incredible carers Cheryl & Michael for all you done to try save Victoria. Thinking of the beautiful family that was waiting for their new arrival to get better 💔 im so sorry she isn’t coming home to you!

Our sweet Sahara’s pups are officially 8 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes! 💛

This adorable litter of Bull Arab X (DNA pending) pups were born in care and raised with love — and just like their beautiful mum Sahara, they’ve been given desert-inspired names to match. 🐾

Each pup has their own unique personality, and they’re all growing into clever, cuddly, and curious little adventurers. 🐶💫

We were blessed with two little boys Gobi & Gibson 💙
And seven little girls Victoria, Syria, Libya, Mojave, Tanami, Sandy & Kalahari 🩷

SAD BRAT UPDATE 💔

Brats catheter was removed in hopes he could be discharged to care but unfortunately the spinal injury was too bad he was not able to regain use of his bladder (or leg). Even with long term recovery and around the clock care, the recovery and quality of life for Brat wouldnt have been a kind life to live. Vet and owner made a decision to free Brat from pain and suffering.

RIP Brat. Run free over the rainbow 🌈 bridge out of pain!

Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to assist Brat and his owner. Brat was very loved till the last minute, we gave him extra kisses to make sure he knew that 💔💔💔

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED!
Brat may be discharged this arvo! A head injury to monitor and possible spinal injury. No major breaks shown on X-ray! What a very lucky boy!
* he ended up staying in another night. Hopeful we will have a safe place for him to recover from on Wednesday

Brat was unfortunately hit by a car on Saturday night and has sustained serious injury. Brat is currently at the vet wit pain relief whilst we continue with diagnoses and organise his treatment.

Brat is being cared for by STABLER & HOWLETT VET OORALEA. Brat will need anywhere from 3-10K worth of vet bills but this boy is fighting to stay alive!
