Had a great weekend at the Hunter Show put on by Kathy Zimmer this last weekend at the NYS Fairgrounds! I took TTR Mississippikitty and Pirate Bae (owned by Amy Bittner) to go school as this was their first times in a show environment and both schooled so well I decided to enter them in some classes! TTR Mississippikitty continued to prove she is truly a wonder pony placing 6th in the 2’3”. Pirate Bae placed 3rd in the Open Hunter Pleasure showing a promising future show career.

With the barn full and bustling, I am looking for a few people to assist me with general barn chores such as stall cleaning, feedings, holding for farrier appointments, and more in exchange for lessons or discounted board. This would only take an hour to three hours each day you work. I’m looking for motivated, willing-to-learn individuals with a passion for animals. The Grace’in Performance Horse team needs to add another member, or possibly multiple members, as my program is quickly growing!
I am looking for someone to assist with barn chores, such as feedings, cleaning stalls, and more, three or four days a week in exchange for lessons or discounted training for the right horse. This position could also turn into more of an ASSISTANT TRAINER/INTERN position for the right hardworking individual. As show season approaches, I’d love to find someone I can trust with maintaining my program while I’m occasionally away.

Had a great day at Locust Hill Arena working cows! TTR Mississippikitty had fantastic works and Shiloh, owned by Rita Cantu, did wonderful turning back as today was her first time hauling off the property. Couldn’t be more pleased with these two mares!

Blessed to work with amazing horses and owners like these two! This past week Margaret headed to Florida for the winter but her gelding, Witness, will be staying here to continue his training. A bittersweet goodbye for sure, but can’t wait for her return to see the progress made!

Hi everyone! My name is Gabrielle Lagatella and I am pleased to officially announce the start of my own equine training business, Grace'in Performance Horses! As owner and head trainer, I look forward to continuing to assist my existing clientele reach their goals in and out of the show pen as new clientele join the team!
I have worked with a variety of horses from a young age and have extensive experience giving lessons in multiple disciplines to all ages and skill levels of riders. From 2018-2020, I attended the University of Findlay for their Western Equestrian and Equine Business Program. Following I went to work for Entz Cutting Horses as an assistant trainer before returning home to continue with my own venture!
Currently I am offering full training, lessons, sale and show assistance at competitive rates. I have experience training in the all around events, ranch events including reining and cutting, and hunters. I also have extensive experience in c**t starting and thoroughly enjoy helping green horses take the steps to becoming finished.
