San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Help us welcome two new additions to our Tiger Trail family, Denver (left) & Diana (right). 🐯🐯 Denver is 12 years old and at 341 lbs., is one of the biggest Sumatran tigers we've ever seen. His calm, cool cat vibe might come in handy when he's paired with Diana. Diana is almost 6 years old and weighs 155 lbs. She's a bit more timid and mischievous than Denver, but they say opposites attract so keep your fingers crossed. 🤞

Gail IV has moved home to Northwest Region, where she has begun her training to be a Hearing Dog! We got a letter from the Puppy Program Manager today that said she has settled in to the kennels and will soon learn to alert her handler to sounds in the environment. We are very proud of her. Will keep you posted..

Happy birthday to Genie's "G" litter. I think I know where everyone is and how everyone is doing except for Geronimo. Where oh where are you Geronimo?
Hopefully everyone can check in this week and post pictures of their puppies. Hugs to all two and four legged.
Momma Genie is doing well and has recently retired.

Mr. General and Miss Gara kicked off the litter's Matriculation experience February 16th. Will let the rest if you know how it goes. They have a three month headstart but seen very ready.

General VI reporting in to Genie's G litter: 15 months 65 pounds. Still an affectionate, strong, curious and determined puppy. Loves to greet with a salute (a high "shake paw").

Gail IV finished her heat today. I have missed her so much for the last 21 days!! The girls that work at the kennel fell in love with her goofy personality. She looks like her Mama, Genie! Hey to all the other "Gs" in the litter!

General VI - at 1 year old. Hey mom this is neon green- I'm one! I look much the same as my 2 month picture in my neon green collar and I act much the same -- sweet, energetic and full of curiosity!

Meet Miss Neon Green- Harvest. She is such a darling girl. Energetic and inquisitive, a huge cuddle bunny and enjoys quietly taking it all in. She really enjoys chasing her siblings and running through the sprinkler. First and most consistent at "hurrying" where she's supposed to! ;-)

Meet Mr Purple. Habiki- a variant of the word Hibiki, the Japanese for echo or sound. He's energetic, curious and a born leader. His favorite activities are climbing and pouncing :-) He's the first to explore new surfaces.
He will be raised in Montana at Crossroads Correctional Facility (overseen by Susan Kloos). He's a lucky boy!

Meet Mr Blue- Havvi. Havvi means "life" in Persian. His personality certainly fits the name. He's got a great balance of careful thoughtfulness and advenrous spirit. He will always be one of the last to fall asleep at nap time but one of the first to the food bowl!

Meet Mr Blue. Hanx- he started out as one of the littlest but made up for it in energy for sure. Hanx will be the first to speak up, first to the food bowl and loves to explore. Trivia fact: Tom Hanks was raised here in Red Bluff so we thought it fitting to name this entertaining handsome fellow in his honor.
