Today we welcomed lovely little girl Honey to the Woburn WagTails team 🥰
This was our first walk together to get to know each other and she walked beautifully. I met her with her Mummy last week at our meet and greet but still when I arrived she was a little shy. Many times this can be the case with doggies when they meet a new person and particularly pups going out with a walker for the first time.
This is why I allowed a little bit of extra time to sit with little Honey when I arrived to get her used to me, give her a little treat so she was keen to come and rewarded her throughout the walk for being such a good girl.
When leaving a pup, they sometimes need settling. So after our walk I sat with her for a few minutes to get her interested in one of her chews to keep her occupied. Once she was engaged in that, I said my goodbyes and hopefully she would have been ready for a nap after her snack ❤️ 😴
I look forward to building a bond with Honey and watching her grow and blossom 🌸

As a dog walker I’m often out and about driving and walking with just the doggies to chat to so I listen to a lot of audiobooks and music!
For the start of 2025 I’m making a motivational feel good playlist and could do with a bit of help for some song suggestions. When we first bring our doggies home 🏠 we make a deliberate and CONSCIOUS effort to provide positive socialisation experiences for our dogs but as life gets busy these may not be as easy to fit in to our doggies schedules.
Regular experiences socialising with a friendly bunch of pooches can be really great for our doggies general well-being and after a WOBURN WAGTAILS walk, doggies return home happy and ready to rest 😴

How is my doggy transported with Woburn WagTails? 🚐🐾🐶
🦮 When transporting your doggies to and from their walks, safety and comfort are my top priorities.
🐾 These crates are crash tested, well-ventilated and light and airy for warmer weather.
🐶 🐶 I chose crates which had blocked out sides so doggies can feel settled and ready to relax on the journey in their own space without being stimulated by other pooches around them.
🧼 The blankets are changed inbetween walks so that the doggies are always travelling in a dry comfortable environment that smells neutral 👃
