The M. Balfouri slings are always more confident to explore outside of the burrow when the mother joins them. The rest of the family is sitting behind them (too thick of webs to get a great Pic of them)

Sadly our E. uatuman females passed away last week. Along with our P. victorii, B. klassi, and N. chromatus females. This has slowed our breeding plans a bit, but we do have a few other saccs on the way! (versi sac cooking with balfouri/gbb/brachypelma and a few other saccs planned)

Their deaths were due to a bad order of horn worms. This shows how fragile these creatures are, and that no matter how careful you are, anything can happen. I will not mention the comp3that the horn worms were purchased from, as they have always done well by us, but even the safest options can have risks.

Rather than mourn these losses, we at The T-Pot are thankful to have been able to breed the uatuman and share this beautiful species to customers all across the country! So please let us know how your slings are doing (:
