A commitment to transparency. When you purchase from RilWater Reptiles, you can feel confident that the animal you receive and its parents have been taken care of as beloved pets every day they are with us. Parents are never paired before they are 2 years old and at least 45g and spend no more than three non-consecutive weeks together before returning to individual homes. We are open about how all our animals are cared for and will gladly provided photos of the living conditions of any animal you wish to see. Photos of our animals are taken in natural lighting and are always unedited so that the animal you see is what you get. Have a question? Please ask us! 1) By sending payment or deposit, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions of sale.
2) RilWater Reptiles reserves the right to deny the sale of any animal to any customer over concerns of improper care.
3) Deposits and payments are non-refundable. To protect the customer, RilWater Reptiles must be contacted through Facebook messenger, email or text to confirm sale before any initial payment is sent.
4) PAYMENT PLANS/HOLDS – 30-day payment plans are offered on purchases totaling $150 or more before shipping. Animals are placed on hold with the payment of a non-refundable deposit of 30% or more of the total amount due (price + shipping). Full payment must be received within 30 days of the initial deposit or the sale is void.
a. In the case of a voided sale: No refund of deposit or payments will be given. Funds already paid cannot be transferred to a different purchase and cannot be banked as store credit towards a future purchase. Failure to complete a payment plan with RilWater Reptiles will result in the customer be in-eligible for such plans in the future.
5) RilWater Reptiles is not responsible for the health or life of any animal once it has been in the care of the customer for 24 hours.
6) Should an animal greater than 5g in weight and $35 in price die within 24hrs of arrival, a refund of half the purchase price excluding shipping may be provided under the following conditions:
a. RilWater Reptiles must be notified of the death within 24hrs of a live animal being received by the customer.
b. No fewer than 5 clear photos or a clear video of at least 1 minute in duration of the deceased animal must be provided by the customer via Facebook messenger or email.
c. No fewer than 5 clear photos of the animal’s full habitat must be provided by the customer via Facebook messenger or email.
d. The customer must establish that environmental and care conditions such as temperature, humidity, habitat decorations, diet, and human handling where not the cause of animal injury or death. Rilwater Reptiles may request additional information or photos for this purpose before agreeing to a refund
7) Should an animal be delivered DOA (dead on arrival) RilWater reptiles must be contacted within 30 minutes of the animal’s delivery. If the customer is not present to receive an animal at time of delivery, RilWater Reptiles is not responsible for the health or condition of the animal.
8) Tail drop is a natural phenomenon in crested geckos. No refund or discount will be provided for animals that drop their tail before, during or after shipment once a sale is initiated.
9) You must be 18 years or older to purchase from RilWater Reptiles. If you are under 18, a parent must be the one to make contact with me and arrange the sale.
