My 4 girls (Albert, Cheeto, Scrappy and Penny) would welcome some friends to stay in a neighbouring coop. I don’t get many eggs from them nowadays but just love their funny characteristics and watching them rummaging in the garden and enjoying dust baths all day.
I have had many breeds and personalities of chickens over the years and love interacting with all sorts of chickens.

Hello, I’m Florence and I am 11. I have a flock of 7 chickens which I have cared for for 2 years now. I do most of the work but my mum buys the food and helps me with the cleaning – she will also coordinate all the bookings for my hotel. I absolutely love chickens!
The Corston Coop is a great place for your chickens to be on holiday at the same time as you! We have a plastic Solway Recycling maxi hen loft which can accommodate up to 5 large hens or 8 bantams. All of our guests get layers pellets in the morning and afternoon with the option of treat food too. If your chickens have any special dietary requirements please inform us. In the daytime your flock can roam in our enclosed run, but at night will be shut safely away in the coop.

I have always wanted chickens and when we moved to our new home with a lovely big garden I was able to finally have some. Our chickens are called Jemima and Florence, we’ve owned them for over a year now and absolutely adore them!
One of the things that I love most about Jemima and Flo is the little noises that they make, the gentle cooing and chirping that says that they’re happy, they love a cuddle. They’re really sweet girls and loving life, we’re all so happy to have them and we’re looking forward to them having visiting friends to stay.

I love learning about chickens and I’m constantly improving the care I can give them. My years of chicken keeping have given me lots of experience in spotting ailments and how to look after them. I am a long standing member of the Salisbury Poultry club and help out at different poultry shows.
Keeping chickens is always a real joy, so running a chicken hotel is a dream job as I get to meet so many chickens!

We live in a beautiful rural valley near Salisbury, and within easy reach of Shaftesbury, Verwood, Ringwood, Amesbury, and other locations.
We have 6 of our own bantam chickens but two coops, so we are renting out our extra coop to you! 🐓
The coop is in our back garden and has some shade from 2 trees, although in summer we lay a blanket over the run to provide even more.

Here’s what she has to say about her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ des res, "My guest coop is a beautiful Omlet Eglu classic coop, it has double skinned walls so it’s cosy and insulated in winter. Because of its design it makes it really easy to thoroughly clean in between guests. I use wood shavings for bedding and make sure that then run gets moved to fresh grass between guests or as soon as it gets eaten down.”

My favourites are the Black copper maran eggs, a beautiful rich mahogany colour and prized for their flavour by French chefs. Cream Legbar and Araucana breeds lay beautiful light blue eggs. When I crossed a blue egg layer with a Copper Maran... their daughters laid green eggs! Dr Seuss would be so pleased 😁🥚❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🐔
