Even more outstanding is the fact that they are litter brother and sister !

Massive congratulations to CH Teganstaff All Together Now - ‘Charlie’, CH Teganstaff Quasimodo Quadrella - ‘Egor’ and their proud breeders/ owners Pam and Garry Jobe, Teganstaff , on gaining their titles .

Charlie recently ventured to the Adelaide Royal Show and was awarded the bitch challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed which netted her the most beautiful yellow garland !

Most people don't know this. And most vets still recommend yearly or three-yearly vaccination 'boosters' for your pets. Most vets don't even know that these vaccinations provide long-lasting immunity. I sure didn't until I'd been in practice for over 10 years, when I found the research.

Yes, a vaccination can injure or kill your pets. AND vaccines are highly effective in the prevention of potentially deadly diseases. Here we have a rock and a hard place. So what to do???

𝗠𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗿𝗲-𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀. 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲-𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆.

In fact, re-vaccination when your pet does have adequate antibody levels does NOT increase immunity. It doesn't boost anything, because the antibodies in your pet's blood stream grab the vaccine before their body can respond to it. However, the vaccination can still harm or injure your pet.

Rule number one + minimal vaccination for maximum protection. And the only way to do this is to titer test, and only re-vaccinate if antibody levels are low.

Nobody has told him that he is a mature adult now , he is just as goofy and bombastic as always , and we love him for it 😍
Happy Birthday to all his siblings , hope you all got spoiled today . Rambo loves his tucker , and he certainly enjoyed his treats and his special dinner, although a photo of both together is an impossibility 🤣

Sweet 14-week-old Golden Retriever puppy Percy is on the road to recovery after spending some time in our ICU over the weekend! He was an excellent patient and feels better already thanks to some time in our state-of-the-art oxygen kennel. In this photo he had popped his little head out to say hello to our staff during one of his treatments, and we don’t think he could get any cuter!

How Percy ended up spending the weekend with us is an important story that his caring owners allowed us to share to help keep other pets safe. Percy and his big brother were rough-housing, when Percy’s collar got stuck on his brother’s mouth. Percy panicked when he was suddenly stuck, and while twisting around trying to escape he caused his collar to become even tighter around his neck! Thankfully their owner noticed quickly that something was wrong and freed Percy before he lost consciousness. When his owners rushed him to see our ER team, Percy was struggling to breathe, drooling profusely, and very distressed. Radiographs showed that Percy had fluid in his lungs (non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema) caused by the time he spent struggling to breathe. Pain medications and oxygen support quickly helped Percy breathe more comfortably as his body worked to heal from the experience.

The strangulation hazard of dogs playing while wearing collars is a hidden danger that many pet owners don’t know about, but a story we hear with some frequency in the ER. Thankfully Percy’s story has a happy ending, but if his owners hadn’t been there to intervene it could have been tragic. Please, get your pups microchipped so they have a permanent form of identification, and then take those collars off when they’re playing with or interacting with other dogs!

We have a 14 month old girl looking for a pet home with a Stafford savvy person/ family . She would like to be the only pet so she can bask in all the attention ( she thinks cats are there for her to practice lure coursing with ) . She is a high energy , athletic girl, so will need an owner willing to provide her with exercise and play stimulation , she is not yet of an age to be a couch potato . A home where she is not left to her own devices all day every day would be perfect . She will be desexed before leaving of course .

I got this beautiful update today , of the lovely Boss, Reigning Bulls Devils Rising Son ( imp USA) , a distinguished gentleman of 12 years now.
Boss can be found in the pedigree of pretty much every dog I bred since 2011, his pedigree as well as his fantastic temperament are top class. It was with a very heavy heart that we rehomed him 7 years ago to a lovely, Stafford loving family on the other side of the country , where he instantly attached himself to his own little girl and is still living his very best life . I really loved this dog , but it was the best move for him . He is always lurking in my thoughts somewhere. I can’t thank Mel and family enough for the loving home they have given him 💓

✅ Play with them.
