WW RANCH JAM SPOTLIGHT: Pretty hard to believe these prickly purple spheres taste so good… but they do 🌵. I wonder who thought to themselves maybe I should risk getting pricked to see if these taste good? Check out our cactus apple 🍎 and cactus jalapeño 🌶 jam. They may look intimidating like the cactus, but trust me from experience, this jam is good enough to risk a prick! 😉🌵

TMRW is our Halloween Open Ranch event. We will have ARTS & CRAFTS for kids of all ages, Doc's Rocks will be visiting us again, Trick or Treating around the ranch and of course... ALPACAS! Costumes are REQUIRED for children under 12 (kidding but we will be handing out broccoli to any child not in costume... ok... kidding again- or am I?)

Costumes for our next event are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will have Trick or Treating available for the kiddos but be advised that kids without costumes will get BROCCOLI in their bags🙀🎃! We’re here to share another amazing dye by , we just couldn’t resist! We really enjoyed seeing everyone’s creative come alive in this activity.

“The yarn dyeing was so fun at Alpacas and Friends. I really liked being able to see all the different dye colors on the different yarn bases. It was very helpful having that to help decide what yarn base and dye colors to choose! This is my second time dyeing yarn at the ranch and I look forward to doing it again sometime!”

We dyed and let our creativity fly at todays yarn dye. Who else had so much fun at our yarn dye? We know we did!

Hear about experience: “My first time dyeing yarn. I selected the natural base and four colors from the very handy color cards. The cards show what my colors would look like on my base yarn choice. How to apply was explained well and I was able to drip colors on my yarn until saturated. Then the skein was microwaved and rinsed and is now hanging to dry while I plan what to knit with it! 10/10 great experience.”
