If you want to participate in our Skeletons to the Rescue fundraiser campaign with a sign of your own please reach out to us. Last year they raised over $1000 for the pups!

We got the chance to visit Kraken Kove and Skeleton Crew Santa Clara tonight! Such a fun set up and over $2000 has been raised so far for the dogs. If you can get down to Santa Clara be sure to swing by Atherton Drive and check it out. Saturday and Sunday from 4-6 you can get your picture taken in the jail!

Welcome new little ones! Petite labs mixes available in a couple weeks. These little ones are parvo survivors and doing great. Just after they came to foster care they broke with parvo. Tehama County Animal Care Center stepped up to treat and even used the new parvo treatment injection for the first time. They are all thriving, happy pups. We welcomed a mama and her 7 babies into our kennel location today. If fosters are found in the next week we can happily accept them into rescue officially. We currently are in need of puppy food to support this little family. Have you met Larry yet? He's been in and out of rescue with us over the last several years and we honestly don't understand why. He's sweet, smart, athletic and super well behaved. At 7 years he's past the naughty puppy stage but still up for any adventure. Larry is currently looking for a foster or at the very least a temp foster from 12/23 - 12/29. Our Story

Hi! Do you believe in second chances? Root for the underdog? Want to make a difference? You came to the right place. Whether it’s adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating - there are lots of ways to help out dogs in need.

We’re Copper's Dream Animal Rescue, and we focus our work on saving dogs who are most in need in overwhelmed shelters and finding them loving homes. All of our dogs live in volunteer foster homes until adopted, where we learn more about them, spay/neuter, vaccinate, and help find them their perfect human match.

Since our founding (inspired by a dog named Copper), we’ve saved over 4,600 dogs. And we couldn’t have done that without an amazingly dedicated team of volunteers, our superhero foster homes, our generous donors, and loving adopters.
