Copper's Dream Animal Rescue focuses its work on pulling dogs from high kill shelters. We spay and neuter these animals, get them up to date on vaccinations, and then house them until loving, permanent homes can be found.

Ivory came to rescue after being left at the shelter with her 2 three week old puppies. Who can blame her for being a little wary of new people? But, once you pass the litmus test(which is pretty quick), she is your snuggle buddy for life! She LOVES other dogs, so a buddy helps, and is happy to patrol the yard or snuggle on your lap.
Her foster is headed out of town so she is available for a test run too. Who’s going to give this girl the forever that she has worked so hard to get to? ❤️

Our Story

Hi! Do you believe in second chances? Root for the underdog? Want to make a difference? You came to the right place. Whether it’s adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating - there are lots of ways to help out dogs in need.

We’re Copper's Dream Animal Rescue, and we focus our work on saving dogs who are most in need in overwhelmed shelters and finding them loving homes. All of our dogs live in volunteer foster homes until adopted, where we learn more about them, spay/neuter, vaccinate, and help find them their perfect human match.

Since our founding (inspired by a dog named Copper), we’ve saved over 4,600 dogs. And we couldn’t have done that without an amazingly dedicated team of volunteers, our superhero foster homes, our generous donors, and loving adopters.
