Copper's Dream Animal Rescue focuses its work on pulling dogs from high kill shelters. We spay and neuter these animals, get them up to date on vaccinations, and then house them until loving, permanent homes can be found.

Miss Betty is on her way!

Betty is a 9+ year old pointer who found herself in a crowded, scary shelter. Her amazing fosters had been waiting for the perfect senior girl to come along and are eagerly waiting for her to arrive. Thanks to an amazing volunteer Betty got an immediate transport all by herself.

Betty will be arriving with a few medical issues we need to address, not surprising at her age. She has a double ear infection, sunken eye that likely needs to be removed and pretty bad arthritis. If you would like to help Betty with a small donation to her upcoming medical care she would be forever grateful.

Stay tuned for updates on sweet Miss Betty. You're safe now girl.

Our Story

Hi! Do you believe in second chances? Root for the underdog? Want to make a difference? You came to the right place. Whether it’s adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating - there are lots of ways to help out dogs in need.

We’re Copper's Dream Animal Rescue, and we focus our work on saving dogs who are most in need in overwhelmed shelters and finding them loving homes. All of our dogs live in volunteer foster homes until adopted, where we learn more about them, spay/neuter, vaccinate, and help find them their perfect human match.

Since our founding (inspired by a dog named Copper), we’ve saved over 4,600 dogs. And we couldn’t have done that without an amazingly dedicated team of volunteers, our superhero foster homes, our generous donors, and loving adopters.
