Pepper graduated today from our 6 week off leash Obedience Training. She’s ready to head home to start her new journey of being a trained and well balanced member of her family now! Thanks to the Koone family for trusting us with her!

Great Article written about E-collars and the effectiveness if used properly by trainers and owners.

It never fails, a dog owner struggles to gain control over their dog and they have "tried everything", so they make a trip to Pet Smart to purchase an E-collar hoping that this will be the saving grace. Not knowing that these devices should actually come with very extensive instructions, they strap....

Just a little group Obedience for Pepper and Tippet. Mr. Tippet is a pro at this so we use him to work with our new obedience students to create distractions and how to work through them. Pepper is moving along very well! A well behaved pup is a good pup!

We are wide open for Obedience Classes starting August 1st. We offer the following classes. These are board and train courses. Meaning your pup stays with us for the training.

A four week on leash program and a six week off leash program. Each training incorporates your family for at least two 30 minute sessions with your dog and a "Go Home" Session.

The 4 week program covers how to properly walk on leash, teaching the sit, here, heel and down command. We also incorporate place training so your pup can learn their designated place in your home.

The 6 week program covers the same as the 4 week program but we incorporate e-collar conditioning and working off lead.

Upcoming Obedience Class start dates. The program consist of 5 weeks of board and train teaching the following commands. Sit, Here, Down, Place/bed and Kennel. Dogs are taught to properly walk on leash, wait to enter through doors until called and not to jump on people. At the end of training you will have a dog that fully understands the taught commands and how to comply to each. Giving you the tools to make a transition to your home and have a well behaved pet. $200 deposit required to hold your training spot. Dogs need to be at least 5 to 6 months of age.

Good Afternoon Everyone. I have decided to start another page to better cater to our K-9 Obedience only clients! So in conjunction with Dirty Bay Retrievers L.L.C I am launching Tall Pines K-9 Obedience .

Tall Pines will be offering the same On leash and Off leash obedience programs that Dirty Bay Retrievers had. I just thought separating the two would help better serve our potential clients looking to get their four-legged family member obedience trained. We are looking forward to meeting you and your pet.
