Hello Lana,
I wanted to send you a report on our Kuujjuaq, Quebec project that we just finished. It was a great success. We saw a total of 74 animals during our 3 day clinic. A few people brought their pets in to just be vaccinated (they were already spayed/neutered at our last clinic there, pre pandemic) but the majority were there to have them have the surgery.
The community were extremely helpful in providing accommodation and meals and a place to work. Our days were busy and we enjoyed learning about Kuujjuaq and the Inuit cultural history of the area. The PAF donation went toward the medical and surgical supplies we needed to do our work there.

Hoot (torti) and Holler (aka Holly) are sisters that were found all alone when they were just about 2 weeks old. Thankfully they were handed in to a vet clinic who gave us a call! They have been in foster since and have grown like weeds and thrived with the help of the fosters resident cats.
These girls are quite possibly the friendliest and cuddliest kittens were had around. They LOVE everything! People, dogs, kids, you name it.

FEEL GOOD STORY!
Percy (5 yr old orange kitty) got "officially" adopted today. Big guy is Winston (Winny, for short).
Percy spent nearly a year living at a small town vet clinic in Manitoba waiting for a home after he was turned in. PAF took him on and found the most wonderful home for him with owners and dog brother Winny. They’ve been fostering to see if he and Winnie would become friends. Today IT'S OFFICIAL !!! Percy is staying !!

Our little Lindy is a tiny beauty and about 10 months old. She probably won't ever be a big cat as she seems destined to be a sleek, slim girl. She is extremely playful and often carries her toys around in her mouth. Initially, she is shy with humans and loves the security of her little brown box but it doesn't take too long before she's interested in the toy you are showing her and she can't resist a dangling fleece ribbon so she is soon overcoming her shyness. A new home needs to give her time to get comfortable and then she'll wants strokes and brushing and she likes to head butt you when she's confident. She seems to love other kitties, especially male cats, and wants to introduce herself to them.
An ideal home for Lindy would be someone with another cat or dog friend as loves playing with her fosters other cats. She has been living with two dogs with no issue. We would also like Lindy to eventually be able to have some outdoor garden access but probably not until next Spring when she has fully bonded with her new home and playmate. Lindy is spayed and vaccinated. If you would like more information, please contact us.
