Another Free Fix Day at TCAP. There’s no excuse to not get your pets fixed!! This time there’s no appointment required or limit to amount of cats you can bring. 🖤🐈‍⬛🐈

“Announcing the 7th Free Fix Day of 2024!

TCAP will offer FREE sterilizations & rabies vaccines for feral/community cats on Wednesday, July 31. This event is held at six TCAP clinics: Allen, Arlington, Burleson, Denton, Garland & Ft Worth.

This is our biggest event yet and we want to make a huge impact! 450 cats will be accepted across six locations.

TCAP supports the Feral and Community Cat caregiver community. This is our way of giving back. We recognize the important role you play in animal advocacy in North Texas. For July, there is no limit on the number of cats per caregiver and no appointment is required! We will accept the first 75 cats presented at each location. Cats must be presented in a live trap or pet carrier. All cats will receive an ear tip.

Notes: Additional fees (such as in-heat, crypt, or pregnancy), will be covered by TCAP. Caretakers will be responsible for additional services they elect at the time of service: additional vaccinations, pain medications, viral testing, etc. Cats must be presented in either live traps or pet carriers.”

So thanks to someone dumping 2 pregnant females cats a while back & the unfixed cats .There are 6 litters of kittens . 5 born so far.The first litter born are old enough to venture out.so Adoption ready soon.Anyone wanting to adopt or sponcer a kitten. Reach out in a message or comment.I can let you know when ready. I will start taking pictures of all the babies ASAP.

After Dusty being gutted in my driveway. I'm starting to hate the neighborhood Dogs mostly the owners !?..its hard to even do this anymore.I have neighbors running kittens over on purpose, another one said landlord told her to "get help trapping them & dump them somewhere" . Y'all tell friends in the hitching post water tower neighborhood if their animals run loose.I am tracking them to their homes Sheriff's will be called on y'all Only one time as a courtesy. .

While feeding the cat's I sliced my thigh open on metal roofing .managed to get to the house to yell for help before passing out. Received a lovely going away gift from the ER doctor of a tetanus booster and 8 lovely stitches in my thigh.no work or Animal chores for a couple of days.

Since the Coyotes&Dog attacks & killings Were taking a new approach.Were going to start bringing them All IN at night if we can.But we are in desperate need of more kennels & litter & litter boxes donated. Dusty was 3rd Cat attacked & shredded in the driveway last night.We found huge Dog prints in the yard. He was being adopted this morning 😭😭R I.P.DUST 😭😭😭😭😭😭🤬🤬 .

Fencing is going up to protect the cats.14 different Dogs run loose in the neighborhood now. come on to my property and attack the cats game on.. After Peach and Little Junie were both attacked , no more Mr nice guy.

German Shepherd on the loose again.thats a great way for your pet not to come home. People, feed your animals please.when they wander looking for food & water they end up dead..

Went out to feed & found Paris Dead. She leaves behind 2 babies peach & Dusty.not sure how. She was 25feet from my front door no sign of attack or anything but the neighbor said he has been continuously been putting out poison. no way to know for sure without an autopsy.No funds for that..... She was one of the original 16 & Sister to my Fizzy & Chloe.All the Adult cats are spooked& hiding.Twin didn't even show up for dinner I called all the adult cats for a half an hour before I saw one and they wouldn't come in they just stayed on the outskirts of the property it was very strange.

If anyone has leftover or scraps laying around these are a few things that are needed for the new cat beds. PET DOORS we need many.Insulation pieces, pallet wood ,wood glue , Caulking,& Silicone I have enough to make 2 or 3 beds. But we're also insulating the New Cat shed hotel. Things are coming together finally .
