Meet Oreo

Oreo is a 5 yr old shihtzu. He would do best as an only dog. He tolerates other dogs, but can be quite possessive of his person.

Oreo is working on his potty habits and walks well on a leash. No small children please.

This big fluffy boy of 9 months old is newly adopted and bolted from his home earlier today (8/4) on Upper Farnham St. He's extremely timid and will run from everyone. If you've seen this boy or have any information, please call the number listed.

These two savvy shoppers stopped by the Dollar General on NY-415 near Lake Salubria and E. William St. Ext Friday (8/2) looking for some deals on treats but couldn't produce payment. They were taken to the Town Clerk who couldn't track down their family without any tags to give her clues. They're now with Bath Dog Control who needs your help to get them back home. Who is on the search for a pair of house panthers? Bumble bee and Dragon Fly are still looking for their furever home and are currently at Petsmart in Horseheads. Raven and Bella are 5 and 7 years old. They are a mother and daughter, bonded pair. (Will not separate). They are up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

The most sweet natured, playful, cuddly chihuahuas ever. They want nothing more than to be with their person, on a lap, sleeping on a bed, following you around. Working on potty training. Using pads while foster mother is at work. Working on leash training. Currently have a fenced yard.

Need a person who will give them a lot of attention and patience.

Just a little Thursday afternoon cuteness.

Bandit is kind of a loner. He keeps leaving the living room and goes into the dog room.

Winston is the largest and fluffiest. He's very playful.

Lila is kind of a loner but also loves to snuggle.

Mackenzie is the smallest and seems to be pretty sassy to Winston.

Dougie is a goof ball and likes to sleep upside-down

Merlin is a playful little guy. He plays hard and sleeps hard.

Will be available soon. We are unsure of their breed, although mom looks to be a retriever/shep mix (med) size.

FOSTER/ADOPTER/RESCUE NEEDED

This young handsome man (best estimate approximately a year) is in need of a foster home, a forever home or if there’s a shelter/rescue who has room for him.

He’s the perfect size, very people friendly. Was found as a stray and no one has come forward to claim him. Doesn’t seem bothered by other dogs, but would highly suggest a meet and greet with any current dogs in household. Unsure of cats.

Well roughly 12 week old tuxedo pair, bonded boys so prefer to go as a pair, playful, smart, curious and affectionate. Always ready to play, eat and perfectly litter trained. Star, white dot under his nose, and Apollo are little love bugs when they want to be, nice personalities up to date on everything at the vets. Stuffed mice, jingle balls, a must. Duggy and is fur siblings managed to get our of their fenced in yard. Everyone is accounted for but Duggy. He is a 5 1/2 month old Golden Retriever. He is missing from Hamilton Road in Savona.

"Dude! Not cool locking me up like this! I was on a mission of utmost importance and was hot on the trail of a nefarious critter!" This hunky hound had his search interrupted along Cunningham Creek Rd. last Monday (7/15).

Campbell/Savona/Dix, NY

May be missing from Steuben County or beyond. Please spread the word far and wide to find his family. He's now safe with the HS of Schuyler County 607-594-2255 Ext 201.

This traveling man has been putting a lot of miles on his tired paws over the past few weeks. He has been seen multiple times over the past two weeks in the area of Stony Ridge Rd. in Campbell. More sightings reported on County Rd. 17 in Savona on Sat (7/13), Dusenbery Rd. in Savona on Tues afternoon (7/16), near Stones Garage on County Rte. 333 in Campbell on Wed evening (7/17), then he popped up in Schuyler County Friday morning (7/19) in the areas of Sugarhill Rd, County Road 21, and Templar Rd. in the towns of Dix/Orange.

People reported that he was injured, limping, and had tangled with a porcupine. There is no way to know where he originated from as we’ve seen lost dogs make large loops between where they first became lost, food sources, and shelter.

Our partners at Lost Dogs of Schuyler County once again sprang into action and immediately put out the word then worked to bring him to safety. The amazing community reported sightings and LDOSC, using their dog catching superpowers and super nummy treats, were able to quickly gain his trust and lure him into to a slip lead. He was taken to the Humane Society of Schuyler County where they took him right to the vet to be seen and have the quills removed. He’s now resting comfortably with the kind folks at the shelter.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone involved in bringing this runner to safety, to the ever-fabulous Lost Dogs of Schuyler County, and to the Humane Society of Schuyler County for keeping him safe and getting him the emergency medical attention that he needed.
