I love barking at the waves. My parents have no idea why, but I think it's fun!
Another clip of me on my beach walk. I get so excited at the beach as there are lots of interesting scents and usually other dogs and people to meet, but I didnt bark as much today - only at the start of my walk and when we stop walking for too long and I wanna go again! Mum thinks this is a great improvement 🐕
Come on guys! I don't have time for a photo! Too much to see and sniff! Quick say my release word 'OK' pleeeaassee!!!
I had a fab walk along the beach at sunset today. I met another dog and I was very gentle with them and backed off when it was time to go. I am loving my new long line and Mum reckons I am doing really well with my recall training :-)
Having lots of fun with my ball in the sunshine x
Watching some wildlife on tv, but when the lions came out, I knew my place...
I love my new toy very much!
So many people say 'why don't you go on walks Bob?' Well, this is why. I meet a dog, person, animal, and I can't control my enthusiasm. My adrenaline shoots sky high and I do backflips (actually!) and pull and drag my poor Mum. It frightens away other dogs and their owners as I look and sound so aggressive to them. But all I'm wanting to do is go and play. If I'm not allowed to, like on a walk, then I go in to toddler mode and kick off big time. Then I just go mental for the duration of the walk and have to be carried home. But I'm getting training that will help me to modify my behaviour, so that's positive! And I get plenty of exercise at home and at the dog field x
I love it when Mum gives me and my fellow guinea pigs carrots. We like them very much. I think Mum gave us them to keep us quiet though! The three of us were squeaking away at her, so she gave in! Carrots all round!
Ok, so this might seem a bit weird, but I am getting spoon fed my dinners at the front door. Why? Well, I am so reactive with other dogs, people, cats, cars, sounds etc, that I normally won't accept food treats outside (and I LOVE food, so this just shows how anxious I become). So, basically, I am learning that it's ok to eat outside, and I can choose to ignore the dog barking in the distance, and eat my yummy dinner instead!
Bob rings the Bell
I have been learning to ring a bell for treats this week. This is my new favourite game :-)
I couldn't decide whether I wanted to play football with my big brothers today, or to play with my new toy. I think I will just referee (PS My team won last night - did you see the goals Hungary scored?! Yeah!)
Mum gave me a new toy today! I love it. So far I've chewed off one of its legs, but this time I didn't eat it, as Mum says they aren't good for my tummy...
I am learning not to bark at the guineas outside. I want to play with them, but Mum says I'd be too rough. I get upset when they go away and hide in their hutch. I like it when they come over and say hello to me.
