Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance is a Dallas-based cat rescue organization and a Petco Foundation partner. We are a small group of volunteers who work out of our homes and have day jobs. Feral Friends has assisted in over 13,000 rescues in the feral community and adopting out over 6,000 cats since we were founded in 1998. We have trapped, spayed/neutered and released feral cats on several university campuses, major industrial factories, rural communities and individual homes. We urge pet owners to spay and neuter their animals to prevent their offspring from being euthanized at shelters or dying while attempting to survive on their own.
Feral Friends is a non-profit organization that helps people help animals. We are solely dependent on public donations and are a 501 (c)(3) charity. We do not have an actual facility to house our felines; they are in-home fostered by our wonderful group of volunteer caregivers. We have held our weekend adoptions at two local Petco stores. We are happy to be the charity of choice for Petco in Garland at Firewheel and Petco in north Plano. We are so thankful to have these locations to hold weekend adoptions for these homeless animals.
Feral Friends holds adoptions every Saturday at Petco in Garland and Plano. Feral Friendsโ adoptable cats and kittens have been rescued from abandoned and homeless situations. Although many have been found after straying into feral colonies, they are domesticated and well socialized. They live in homes with foster parents and, much of the time, with other cats, children and even dogs. All Feral Friends cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated and FIV/FeLV tested. A 30-day pet insurance policy is provided with each adopted cat or kitten.
