Many people ask me what I give my bunnies as a natural immune booster. It was wet out today, so I only picked a few things. Willow is a big one!!! Chamomile, dandelion, plantain, raspberry leave to everyone except nursing does, white clover and if they feel under the weather or are sneezing I start them on parsley immediately!!! I add a drop of apple cider vinegar to their water daily and DE in their food. DE also helps to keep the fly populations down. All the herbs I mentioned except parsley grow wild. I also put in lots of plants from the garden, kale, chard, beet greens, carrot greens, mint, calendula, sunflower seeds in the fall. I dry out many of the herbs and greens and add them to their food or hay feeders in the winter months. The wild herbs and parsley are medicinal herbs!!!! They have helped so much!!! We do medicate all of our bunnies that leave the farm, if it’s for show or to go to a new home, but we do try to incorporate this into our feedings at least a few times a week.

Hello!! Our new bunny barn is almost complete!! What is this photo of??? EMPTY cages!!!! So many people ask us if we take in rescues, Bunnies that are no longer wanted or the owner just can’t keep them any longer. I feel terrible when I say, we just don’t have the space!! Well, now we do!!

Willow Rose Rabbitry is now accepting bunnies in need of a new home!!! We will take your bunny, care for it as one of our own and hopefully find it a new loving home for you.

Please share this post to anyone who may be looking to rehome their bunny. We will accept bunnies, free of charge, as long as we have space available.

I have 2 male English lops available. One black and one chestnut agouti. Both are 8 weeks old, great ear length and filling out nicely. These will most likely be our last pedigreed Elops until next spring. $100 each. Message me with questions or to reserve!!!

If I remember this correctly, we had Clover, a jr. mini Rex otter doe and Maze take 1st for English Lop and Flemish Giant and mini Rex. Datura and another otter took 2nd for holland lop and mini Rex, and we had Best of Opposite Breed and Best of Breed for mini Rex, and Grand Champion overall!!! We also have a bunch of bunnies for sale at the fair!!! Go take a look!!

Miss Candy is rather cranky this morning. Normally our sweetest Rex, she is full of babies... hopefully some reds!!!!! We have been wanting reds for a long time and in another week we will find out!!!

Call us crazy, but we do have an Uncle Arly. We do have a Poppy. Why not a Willow?? Tom named this handsome fellow Willow. He is a continental giant English lop cross, white with blue eyes. Thank you to Charmed rabbitry and John Spence for these amazing bunnies!!! ❤️💕❤️
