Keeping our raw food safe for you and your pets! Food safety is very important to us, and the well-being of our pets!! To prevent cross contamination in our facility, we utilize a Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure, and then we swab test (what you see in the video) to ensure cleanliness. After our raw food is packaged and sealed, we send it down the road for HPP, what’s that you say? HPP, a cold pasteurization technique, is extremely effective. It leverages ultra-high pressure purified water to inactivate bacteria – like listeria, E. coli, and salmonella. Neutralizing pathogens! After HPP, the raw is returned to our facility for freezing, but before shipping to our distribution partners, we have third party testing done to ensure safety procedures have been successful. This is how we make sure our raw food is safe! 🐾🐾❤️❤️

Does your pets dry food pass the napkin test? Lotus does! The flavor in Lotus comes from wholesome high meat content, that is baked inside the kibble. Extruded kibble typically cooks out 20% of the essential amino acids, meaning they have to spray on fatty flavoring to entice the pets to eat it. If your pet food kibble is sprayed with fatty sprayed-on flavors, it won’t pass the test!
