The importance of brushing your dog:

* Preventing matting - mats can cut off blood circulation and cause horrible skin infections. In severe cases, we have to shave a do a complete shave off for the well-being of the dog, to allow the skin to breathe and for the hair to grow back healthily. Brushing everyday will prevent this from happening.

* Distributing the coat’s natural oils - this will prevent any grease building up in your dog’s coat and leave it shiny and healthy.

* Helps to remove loose fur - this in turn will reduce the amount of shedding around the house.

* Allows you to spot anything unusual - paying attention to your dogs fur and skin will make it easier to spot anything like bumps or parasites. Spotting any signs early on will make it easier for treatment.
