I haven’t shared our sad news we got just before Christmas. We’ve been enjoying our time with our sweet girl, Ella. She is our 5 year old that was diagnosed with bone cancer. She had been playing with our son’s puppy and started limping so we took her in for X-rays at where they found the cancer in her back leg.

We were absolutely devastated and I think I’ve cried more tears over the last few weeks than I’d like to count! The week before Christmas she hurt her leg more by getting off our bed and getting her paw stuck between the mattress and foot board. ( the bed is only 8-10 inches off the floor so she could just walk off) We thought that would be the end but with some pain meds she was able to mostly recover from that. Thank God!

Her activity has been limited but she is still her sweet self and wants to try to play as much as she can, even if it’s by laying down and wrestling with Oliver ( our son’s puppy)

We had these sweet photos with her shortly after we found out about the and we are so thankful for with .craftimages for capturing our love for our girl! 🐾

Please send thoughts and prayers our way that she continues to be in good spirits and pain free!
