A different kind of matted dog rant. Enjoy…

I will not brush your doggy ma’am.
I do not like it, Sam I am.

I will not brush your doggy sir.
Skin’s important, not the fur.

I will not brush her on my table.
I will not brush him, I’m not able.

I cannot leave it one inch long.
Because of mats, it’ll all be gone.

To brush this out will cause great harm,
To his skin and to my arm.

Beneath her mats are sores and tears.
It’s so much more than tangled hairs.

Your dog will bite and pull and tug.
And lots of wine I’ll have to chug.

Don’t blame me when Rex looks sad.
Coats like this make me so mad.

If I can’t get you in real quick,
It’s still YOUR job to do the trick.

Before you leave a bad review,
Remember that the fault is YOU.

Thursday PSA:

“He just nips a little” = HE BITES

“She’s just playing when she puts her mouth on your hand” = SHE BITES

“The last groomer just said he’s a little mouthy” = HE BITES

“She will just show you her teeth but she won’t bite you” = SHE BITES

“He only has a couple of teeth so it won’t even hurt” = HE BITES AND IT’S STILL NOT OKAY.

Please, for the health and safety of your groomer, trainer, vet staff and family/friends, please please please be realistic and honest about this.
