So proud of this very special girl and how far she has come in her training and development with me . From not rideable to supple , forward and connected ! It's always a blessing when you have amazing owners that stand behind the welfare of their horses and ensure they have everything they need to prosper and flourish.

Blitzy is a rare and talented lady and she likes to be called a lady and loves connected meaningful conversations. Lol.

She especially loves music and has been known to dance to some old school rap and R&B. Lol. She is whimsical on her feet and has a bodacious b***y like no other ! All those transitions have paid off . Ha!

IN JUST 3 weeks check out this transformation on this mare !!! Not only is she going w/t/c under saddle already ( we checked these boxes off a week into her time with me, she is also starting to really use her body laterally & vertically correctly having some lovely transitions, and getting comfortable with moving off the leg and steady & light in my hands.

In 3 short weeks she's put on weight and already building muscle exactly where I want to build it on her A lovely looking topline coming together brilliantly!

Check out her most recent pics ( the first 3 ) and compare to that last one ( without saddle) when she initially came to me. THIS IN 3 WEEKS!

The proof of what I do is always in the horse and this little beauty is gettin' her glow on!!

This is Blitz and she is currently in training and reconditioning with me four days a week. She has come soooo incredibly far in her physical development but most importantly her sense of well being ( in such a short time ). Her mindset has improved drastically! She looks forward to our sessions together and comes over to greet me every time I approach her paddock. In the beginning, when her and I first met, she was indifferent and unhappy. The difference in her is like night and day and I cannot thank her owners enough for entrusting her with me. I absolutely love it when my clients and I are on board with a plan and this then gives the best possible outcome for the horse !!hummmel you have such a very special girl and I am honoured to be a part of her incredible journey into living her best life from the inside out! She has tremendous talent and is truly a gem.

Whole body fitness is truly essential to the proper training and steady development of young horses under saddle. They absolutely require a rider that is capable of maintaining consistency in the saddle.

The rider needs to be a clear vessel capable of enabling their body parts to work in synchronized motion and also separately while maintaining balance, harmony and flow. Flow is so important. A rider must not block the flow of energy but rather direct it and allow the movement to come forth naturally.

I'll be shooting a video this next week riding one of the youngsters I have in training bridle-less and will demonstrate how effective a rider is on a horses back ( and I mean this both negatively & positively).

Imbalances cause more imbalances in the horse.

Stiffness in the rider causes more stiffness in the horse.

The horse is reflective of the rider and it isn't until the rider enters the horse and takes their seat within, that true harmony, balance and connection collaboratively align in the most dynamic ways!

I have professionally started young horses for many years and have a solid & advanced background in dressage (utilizing the training scale of proper horse development in my training program). I also ride and train western ( pleasure and all around western riding). Horsemanship is the foundation of all that I teach and is implemented with the horse from the ground up no matter their training level . Building trust and proper connection is paramount in my training protocol. I'm very passionate about what I do and have an extensive list of references. I also owned and ran a successful horse breeding, importing & young horse training business (Glow Warmbloods) which had only 5 star reviews for 8 years straight. I have a way with horses that is evident in my work with them. The proof is always in the horse! I specialize in training development on already going under saddle horses as well as young horse starting . Refreshers and training development are designed as a per horse basis depending on the horse & client needs. New starts require a 3 month minimum training commitment. I also give lessons but DO NOT provide lesson horses so you must have your own .

Had the pleasure of working with a young ,but rather large, yearling friesian.

I love it when clients are eager to learn and truly open their minds & hearts to the ways in which they can connect more deeply with their equine partners in hand.

These initial years before the saddle gets placed on the back of a horse are pivotal. Setting boundaries, respectfully, and developing trust through friendship are imperative to the overall development and success when it comes to the backing and riding part!

Our horses are our companions and are a gift to us.

Let us not forget this.

Working on handling and some ground manners for this yearling friesian for my client . He has been so much fun to work with and has been enjoying his training in hand sessions with me.

I currently have 3 horses in training with me at this time and have decided to offer one more spot starting in August for another.

I am selective about the horses and people I accept into my training program as 1 know through experience that if the owner is not aligned with their horse or open and interested in truly building a deeper bond and understanding of their equine partner, then more damage is done than good and the horse ends up suffering. The horse comes first always in my training program.

What do I offer?

I offer young horse starting & development along with foundational restarts and progressional training on already going under saddle horses, not just in the dressage discipline but also western riding /training as well.

Horsemanship from the ground into the saddle is the foundation of my program. Treating each horse as a unique individual and always keeping the horses well being at heart is the essence of what I implement as a baseline practice.

To me it doesn't matter what kind of saddle you ride in,.. a solid start and correct progressional training that aligns with the training scale curriculum is my objective.

Under saddle development done correctly covers and teaches rhythm ( regularity & tempo), suppleness (elasticity & freedom from anxiety), contact ( connection & acceptance of the bit through the acceptance of the aids), impulsion ( engagement & desire to go forward), straightness ( improved alignment & equal lateral suppleness on both reins ), and the ability to collect ( balance and lightness of the forehand from increased engagement ) in the horse.

You cannot have one of these on its own without the others that lay the foundations before it.
A solid bond built on trust & respect between horse and person is also an essential element and truly the essence of my program.

The horses I work with are not only correctly and respectfully started and developed but their very best selves are invited forward. A horse never forgets the goodness put into him and in turn becomes one hell of a loyal friend & partner.
