Saddened by the sudden demise of our beloved friend and renowned aviculturist Mr.Arul.
We the fellow members of our society still couldn't believe that our friend have left us with only the memories behind.

May care and love of our Avian friends and family provide comfort and peace to get the clildrens and family through the days ahead. Our most sincere condolences.....

Water
Calculated water intake of adult Australian parrots does not correlate with observed water intake as in the table (Table).
Desert-adapted birds require less water intake than tropical birds.
Changes in diet or environmental temperatures
can alter water intake.

CHILLIES AND PARROTS
Parrots have about 350 taste buds compared to 9000 in humans. Their taste buds can differentiate sweet, sour, bitter and salty tastes only. In fact, not only parrots, other birds too are also immune to the heat in chillies, They are immune to the heat sensation of the hot chilly. That is why they are not affected.
Not only that they are very good for parrots.They are rich in vitamin A and do not change gastric pH in parrots.
All species of parrot love chillies. It should be given to them as treat.
