6yo TB mare, approx. 16.1hh, by Jimmy Choux out of a Don Eduardo mare

Jenny is off the track since August last year and has had a nice long spell until we brought her back into full work four months ago.

We describe her as follows:

Personality:

☀️Very kind, cuddly and affectionate towards humans and horses
☀️She is a friendly and uncomplicated mare, doesn’t squeal, kicks or bite

Ground manners:

☀️she walks quietly on the lead and always wants to come in
☀️she is very friendly in the paddock and stands calm while putting on/off the rug
☀️she respects tape and every other type of fencing (doesn’t windsuck or walk the fence)
☀️she can easily be taken away from paddock mates without throwing a tantrum
☀️she can be alone in the stables/yards
☀️easy to pick out her feet
☀️she is easy to tack up but doesn’t like girthing
☀️she is well behaved for the farrier (only shot in front, very good feet) no kicking/biting
however, she can get sometimes a bit busy - a hay net solves the problem immediately
☀️loads on the truck without any problem

Under saddle:

☀️she is a straightforward ride
☀️she has a good foundation - responds to the aids (walk, trot, canter, upwards/downwards transitions)
☀️jump schooled, lunge jumping, free jumping, jumping exercises, courses, natural jumps
☀️not hot, but nice and forward to ride
☀️she is good in the hand and keeps the contact
☀️ she holds her rhythm in the canter
☀️she is a very keen jumper, has scope and learns quick

Outings:

☀️we took her out hacking on her own and in company over the farm and fields and she behaved super and likes to explore her environment
☀️she attended a SJ show a few weeks ago and was like a little trooper, no spook, no hesitation, jumped everything and enjoyed herself, handled the new environment very well

🤩 Plus: she is very brave - cows, pigs, goats, chicken, bunnies (of course, NZ 😅), dogs, sheep - she does not care about them at all.

Jenny is a sweet and easy horse to have around and she has impressed us with her willingness and kindness toward learning new cues and skills.

She is very versatile, so will suit a lot of disciplines, from easy-going farm hack or pony club mount to eventing/showjumping/hunter.

However she has gained a lot of experience since being off the track and not putting a foot wrong, she is still young and not a 100% produced and fully bombproof riding horse.

But with the right rider and a knowledgeable, loving home, she only can improve

✨✨✨ Hank enjoying his treatment with Lynda from Equinehotspotnz today.

It is amazing watching Lynda while working with the horses and the results she is getting. The horses are looking released, rounder and happier after their sessions with Lynda and are bouncing around in their paddocks like youngsters 🥰.

OTTB “Isn’t He Cute” aka Hank and James had fun today at Papatoetoe PC Winter SJ with a clear round in the 1m and a 4th place in the 1.05-1.10m class.

Clifford is here for a few weeks schooling to improve his flat work foundations and to make his first steps into the world of show jumping.

He is lots of fun to work with and his sweet and funny personality is very tempting to want to keep him here 😉

For the short time he is with us, he has impressed us a lot with his positive, kind and willing attitude towards learning new cues and skills. A sweet horse to have in the paddocks.

And sooo photogenic 📸🥰

🦄❤️ Diva honestly is a super horse and will make someone very very happy!

As well in week 3 Diva has not put a foot wrong. We took her out hacking and she was just adorable and has proven that she is super cool, very sensible and knows how to enjoy herself.

Yesterday we decided last minute to give it a go and took her out to a local show at Waiuku Pony Club. She did not disappoint us and coped very well with her competition rusty rider 😅.

Both produced two nice rounds in the 1.10m and 1.20m and Diva did it with ease. It was windy and a lot of things to look at, but she handled everything well and showed what she is capable off.

Big thank you to Waiuku Pony Club, what a lovely place, super people and we felt very well looked after! Thank you as well to Edward Bullock for lending us studs and the cool course you designed.

So if you are on the lookout for a horse, Diva does tick a lot of boxes

🐴✨☀️ Diva is looking for a new home ✨

16.2hh, 9yo chestnut mare, by Eurosport Heartbreaker out of a Grosvenor mare.

Diva is confident jumping a 1.15m course all day long and does it with ease. She has lots of scope to jump bigger tracks in the future. Diva has a super technique over a jump, tight in front, a super backend and she wants to be clean. Diva has had xc schooling in the past and proved to be very brave. She could as well be a fun horse to take out eventing. Diva is great to hack out, alone or in company and has gone out plenty of times to the beach, forest, road and farm rides.

Diva is looking for a home that gives her the time to explore the world of the bigger jumps as she hasn’t got huge experience and needs to build her confidence.

Diva is with us since two weeks and has shown a sweet personality, she handled the change of scenery easy and is very relaxed, uncomplicated and not bonded to other horses.

We are receiving quite a few enquires asking about Tallpoppi‘s experience with XC.

To be honest, she has never jumped anything else than show jumping fences.

So we took her over to our place today to give it a go - and she was just divine, didn’t flinch and jumped everything we pointed her at.

Pretty cool for her first time 😊

PARIS UPDATE 🍀🦄⛰🛳🏝

Due to the never ending lockdown here in Auckland it has made it impossible for people from outside to come and trial her.

Tomorrow morning Paris will go on a big journey down South to Christchurch and will be available for view and trial at Molly BB Equestrian

She sets off on her travels with clean X-ray’s, a negative COVID test and is all prepared to make her future rider very lucky as she is the absolute loveliest pony with the biggest heart and all the abilities to climb up the grades.
