Also, happy October- several days late 😀
We're excited about this month, because of everything that's happening in our new business venture.
This past week, we officially moved everything from the building at Oasis to our very own.
In the next few weeks, we'll be making the first batches of deliciousness in said building, as well as releasing the new labels and publishing the website.
So stay tuned, because there's a lot of good things coming.

Today it's ginger carrots.

One of my favorite products that we sell is Kimchi. A few of the reasons are because of the health benefits, the taste, and watching people try it for the very first time. The salt and spice makes for an interesting taste, and also produces the best reactions from people who are trying it for the first time. 😂
If you've never tried Kimchi, let us know and we'll do our best to fix that!
Meanwhile, check out this article by Dr. Axe about the health benefits of this product. https://draxe.com/kimchi/
Kimchi is a traditional fermented probiotic food that is a staple Korean side dish. Some of its benefits include improving digestion and raising immune function.

We're excited to announce that as of this week, we have taken over the fermenting/canning business from Oasis at Bird-In-Hand.
We are excited about the opportunity to continue to provide quality products for you and your family. These products will still have the same quality ingredients, and we will continue to use the same recipes from the prior owners.
We are all very excited about this new opportunity, and we'll continue to keep you updated on our progress!
We plan to provide more information about our products in the coming weeks.

Our Story
We are a family of eleven located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Both of us grew up on an Amish farm here in Lancaster, and during our first 11 years of marriage, we lived on a diary farm. We then started this hobby farm over seven years ago when we moved into the area again, and since then, there have been many animals that have passed through our farm.
Not only do we love animals, but so do our children. They have bottle fed many baby goats and lambs after they were orphaned or they couldn’t nurse from their mother anymore.
We raise our own beef and chicken, and we grow our own vegetables during the summer. We love the fresh taste of our homegrown food, which surpasses what we could buy from the grocery store.
More recently, we bought a fermenting/canning business and continue to offer the same delicious products that Oasis at Bird-in-Hand has provided for years. For more information on that part of our business, check out our website: gapviewhomestead.com.
So spread the word, and we hope to be able to serve you soon!
