Quail Eggs- lovely, gourmet breakfast. I recently was at a local, health-food store in our area and decided to try Quail Eggs. They were 3.29 for a dozen so not an option for many large families. They came in a clear, tiny box that protected them well.
This morning I tried to crack 5 of the beautiful eggs into the frying pan. They were hard to break open and I did get a couple of tiny shell pieces in the pan. 5 Quail eggs roughly equal 1 large chicken egg. They were delicious but certainly not practical for a family with hungry children. I ate 5 but certainly could have eaten more. Nice flavor but just not worth the effort. It was difficult to have a nice presentation, they all ended up together when I tried to fry them.
The label claims "Quail eggs are very beneficial for your health because they enrich your body and give you strength. The quail egg is very small but is 4 times richer in nutrients than a chicken egg. These eggs contain proteins, vitamin B, iron, and potassium. Quail eggs are a perfect food for adolescents and elderly people because they are rich in many nutrients essential for energy. Quail eggs compared with chicken eggs contain 5 times more Phosphorus, 7 times more iron, and 10 times more vitamins. Because of this, they boost your energy."

We have several Miniature Horse Mares here in Virginia. We will be breeding a select few for 2021. I will be doing a separate album for each horse eventually. Foals may be available in Spring 2021.

I love these sweet and colorful goats. I started with a buck and doe and continue to add to the herd with births and purchases. I will not have any for sale this year, unless it is a buck or wether. Still building my herd up.
