The green anaconda is a stunning snake, with shades of military green and distinctive dark circular markings along its body.

When captive-bred and raised properly, these snakes can be surprisingly calm and manageable. However, they grow very large and are incredibly strong, making them unsuitable for anyone under 18 or for those without experience handling large constrictors.
