Last weekend (Dec 5-8) found us at the GSP Club of South GA field trial in Arabi, GA! Our thanks to the volunteers and judges for their hard work. It was a good weekend. Sunny placed Second in Open Limited Gun Dog, Lucy placed Second in Open Gun Dog, and Clowney (not pictured) placed Fourth in the Derby!

We want to thank all the judges and volunteers at the Stump Hill Farms Field Trial for a well run trial, held on November 29 in Rose Hill NC. And... congratulations to the owners of R***r, who won the Open Shooting Dog stake and Clowny, who brought home a Second place in the Open Derby!

At the American Field trial held by the Mid Carolina Field Trial Club in Camden SC, held November 17-20, Brutus brought home a Second Place in Open Shooting Dog!

At the field trial hosted by the Duplin County Field Trial Club, an American Field event held October 4-6, 2024, we brought home a First in Open Shooting Dog with Sunny and a Third in Open All-Age with Brutus!

This weekend found us at the Cherryville NC American Field Trial and it was a successful weekend for Gunner, Lucy and Clowny! Our thanks to all the judges and all those who worked hard to put on the trial. Descriptions are in the picture files!

Sunny had a great year and she is still in the Top Ten Field Trial Statistics for Open Gun Dog for 2023 through March 2024. She is number 4 in the country!! This is per the most recent issue of GSPCA's Shorthair Journal.

Red Oaks Sunshine von Heidbrink (Sunny) is famous! We don't know the magazines, but she is on the top of the list of stats for field trialing dogs in 2 places! Check the pictures in the comments!

At the March 2024 Field Trial, hosted by Slate River Bird Dog Club in Virginia, 2 of our dogs came home with first place ribbons! Sunny won the Open Gun Dog stake and Gambler brought home honors in Open Limited Gun Dog! We are proud of both dogs! What a way to wind down a season!

We also want to thank the club and all those who volunteered and judged this fine field trial!

The Field Trial at Camden SC is now history and we had a very good weekend. We want to thank the GSP Club of NC and all its volunteers for putting on a good trial, and we want to thank all the judges! We know the work that goes into holding a trial is significant and we appreciate you all!

We also want to thank W***y Heafner for entrusting us with his good dogs, and Von Heidbrink Shorthairs for their dogs too!
