🌙🐾 Hi friends, it’s me—Midnight! 🐾🌙

I have something super exciting to share…

A little while ago, I lost the yard I used to call home, and the shelter was really scary for me. Then in June, I went to a foster home where I learned how wonderful couches, cuddles, and doggy siblings are. 💙

Well guess what? On Saturday, I found out that my foster family isn’t my foster family anymore—they’re my FOREVER family! 🏡💫 I never have to leave, and I’m so happy.

I wanted to make sure everyone knows that fostering saves lives—because without it, I wouldn’t have found my happily-ever-after. Thank you to my amazing family for loving me just the way I am! 💕

🐾 53 days. That’s how long Roscoe has been waiting. 🐾

He doesn’t understand why his friends leave with families while he’s left behind. Roscoe only knows that he’s been a good boy—crate trained, gentle with dogs of all sizes, playful, cuddly, walks beautifully on a leash, knows his “sit,” and loves splashing in the water. 🌊

To him, it doesn’t make sense. To us, it doesn’t either. Roscoe is everything a family could dream of… yet his kennel is still full every night. 💔

He deserves more than waiting. He deserves home. 🏡❤️

Coco returned from foster this morning to head to our adoption event… and she left with her forever mom! 💕 This sweet girl is officially home and ready for all the love, learning, and training ahead. We’re so happy for you, Coco! 🐶🏡

✨ Mocha’s Glow-Up! ✨

Talk about a transformation—Mocha came to us in need of some TLC, and after her spa day she’s feeling fresh, fabulous, and ready for forever! 💕

This sweet 2-year-old Shih Tzu was surrendered to us when her family could no longer care for her. She’s now all set for a new start—spayed, shaved, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on prevention, and microchipped. 🐾

Mocha has lived with both cats and dogs and did wonderfully. She’s also great with kids 1 and up, making her a perfect little companion for many types of homes.

🤝 Collaboration Saves Lives

These last two days have been a clear reminder that animal welfare is strongest when organizations work together. We are deeply grateful to the following shelter partners for their support:

🫶 Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit – assisted with the transfer of 2 cats.
🫶Michigan Humane Pet Pantry – provided essential supplies including dry dog food, dry cat food, and wet cat food to help stock our community food bank.
🫶Humane Society of Huron Valley– accepted 14 kittens, ensuring they receive the care and placement they need.
🫶Capital Area Humane Society– welcomed 8 cats and kittens, creating additional capacity and opportunity for adoption.

In just two days, these combined efforts opened critical space in our shelter, provided resources for families in need, and gave 24 animals new opportunities for brighter futures.

When shelters and agencies collaborate, the impact is greater — and more lives are saved.

☀️ Splish, splash, and smiles all around! Roscoe and Ferb soaked up the sunshine today and couldn’t get enough of their pool time fun. 💦 These two silly, lovable boys are full of joy and are just waiting to share it with forever families of their own. 💙

They’re playful, affectionate, and so deserving of a home where they’ll be treasured. 🐾 And right now, thanks to our Detroit Lions adoption promo, their fee is only $13! 🦁💙

Some stories write themselves… 💕 Cookie and Max came to us needing a safe place to land, and their foster families opened their homes and hearts. What started as “just fostering” quickly grew into love too big to let go.

This week, both Cookie and Max officially became forever family members in the homes where their journeys began. 🏡🐾
