Back in board today, after a weather-enforced break! How long we will be able to ride again for, who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ however, he’s still young and breaks in training can do a lot of good, so no panic during the Winter months

At the end of October we went to Bishop Burton to do our first BD camp. It was a real learning experience, with some lovely work and a few stressful moments thrown in 🙈 he definitely tested me on the second day, which is why there are less blue t-shirt photos! 😂
Overall for a 4 year he is a star 🌟

Our first test at Northallerton BD yesterday. I think our nicest test to date. 1st in our section & 3rd overall.
(Second test probably our worst test to date but we won’t mention that one too much! 😂🙈)

Northallerton yesterday, first BD attempt, first long arena (Prelim) tests
Won’t lie it absolutely could have been better - need to work on my ridiculous nerves, my canter aids and Manny’s attention span - but really really pleased with him and a good start to BD with 2nd & 3rd placings in our section

We have regular lessons, which we both really need and benefit from! Then spend a lot of time playing in the school at home, working hard on trying hard to improve!

Over Summer 2023 Manny & I did a handful of local unaffiliated intro and prelim competitions.
We were learning all the time, with Manny getting used to the atmosphere, arena boards and markers, judges cars, etc!
We then attended the Carnival of Dressage at Aintree, finishing the summer with wins there in both the Senior Intro and Prelim sections, which was a huge surprise!
