Pixel the dog Welcome! My name is Pixel (a.k.a Most Pixellent). I’m a 65 lbs. German Shepherd mix. Learn more about me and let's connect! Well, hello there! I’m an A+++ student!

I'm glad to report that I found a home!!! THANK YOU everyone for your support

t? I’m an exceptionally quick learner, so please continue training me -- and teach me something new! And if you already have a doggie, great! I love fuzzy company. My furry story begins in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where I was born. I got adopted by two expats, also known as mom and dad. We had many adventures together hiking the snow-covered Kazakh mountains and playing with my little brother, Igor (9-lbs doggie) and big sister, Alma (65-lbs Kazakh Shepherd). While my sister has since gone to doggie heaven, I love hanging out with my little bro, Igor. I’m very sweet and gentle with him, and we keep each other company. We moved to Budapest, Hungary for a year before moving to the United States. Good thing I’m well-behaved in my crate - those were some long flights! But to see my humans on the other end was the best. I adapt very well to new environments. While I’ve lived in many places and situations (huge yard, small yard, no yard), I really like living indoors where I’m close to my mom and dad,. Do you enjoy petting dogs? Great! I adore being petted, having my belly scratched and long, soulful eye contact while my human scratches me behind my ears and tells me what a good doggie I am :-)

I may be close to 9 years old on paper, but years don’t mean anything to me. My spirit is young, I’m healthy and strong and a fast runner. I am spirited, goofy and loving. Once you win over my heart, I’m all yours. I will surprise you with kisses (and sometimes a nibble!) on your chin. I know many tricks and do them happily for treats. I can be mischievous during the summer time - ladies in skirts, watch out! ;)

Whatever I do, I do it full-heartedly: going on walks, runs, swims or pulling my dad on his kick scooter! I also love curling up by my mom’s feet under her desk while she’s working. I can multitask that way: nap and keep an eye on her. You might be wondering by now, if I love my mom and dad so much, why am I seeking a new home? Well, I hate to admit it, but there is one thing I can’t make any sense of: tiny humans (young children). They change so much and squirm and move funny and are so unpredictable and not gentle with me - what’s up with that? I’m looking for a home without tiny humans where I can live a similar life like I had before with mom and dad. I have to admit, I'm a little bit on edge these days so I'm looking forward to this new life with you! So, what do you think? Shall we meet and see if we like one another? Can’t wait to meet you! Love,
Pixel
