We have exciting news! Any donation made from today (5/24/19) until 6/7/19 will be matched by a generous donor! This means that if you donate $10, We get $20! This will be a HUGE help with big vet bills, spay trips, feral colonies, and animals in foster care.

We are a small volunteer run organization. Since the beginning of 2019 we have taken in 232 animals (154 still in foster care) and fixed 140 animals! We are managing 18 colonies of feral cats through our TNR program, preventing thousands of feral cat births every year. We would really appreciate your donations to help us continue this work!

BIG news!
This past year we have been working very closely with an amazing group of people at Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue . We have decided to merge our groups to expand our community/feral cat program as well as our foster program to help reduce the homeless animal population . The rescue will be Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue, and Wild and Wonderful will be the name of the feral/community cat program!

So the next couple of days you guys will see that the name is going to change... and then that will allow us to merge the pages!

UPDATE HE HAS BEEN FOUND!

MISSING! WESTOVER, NEAR THE BRIDGE
Frankie, our big beautiful Lilac Point guy, broke out of his foster moms house very early this morning (we think around 6am). He broke through a window so he may be injured. He is a big boy and is probably around 15lbs now. He is very friendly and loves to be talked to and does usually come up to you if you say his name. He has a tattoo inside one of his ears from his neuter. Please share and send us a message if you have seen Frankie! He did used to live outside but he has been inside for several months now and we are very worried about him!

Say hello to one of our newest rescues! This sweet baby, her 6 brothers/sisters, and their momma came to us today!
We are in huge need for blankets/towels! If you have any old towels you want to donate let us know! We also love the cheap $2.50 fleece blankets that Wal-Mart has on sale this time if year!

Peaches needs a foster or adoptive home!
Miss Peaches is about 2-3 years old. She is pretty calm and a great dog! She is great with dogs and other cats. She does become protective of her people once she bonds to you and doesn't really like strangers in her home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations!

Tabitha is our sweet one eyed, mostly blind tabby! This sweet heart is young and is very well adjusted to not being able to see much! She is incredibly loving and just wants to sit on her person's lap!

Foster or Adoptive home needed for this gorgeous girl! Miss Peaches is a beautiful shepherd mix. She is very sweet and friendly. She does get protective over her people once she gets to know them and does need some work with letting strangers into her home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Please share!

This sweet lovable do**us has been spayed and is ready for her forever home! She is some sort of hound mix and she is 6ish months old! Betsy is a super sweet and silly girl, she is very playful and bouncy but can be timid initially. She does great with other dogs and cats! She does amazing off leash when we take her for a run in the woods and stays close and does frequent check ins! She would make a perfect adventure partner!

We aren't quite sure how we still have this girl! This is Minerva! She is a gorgeous marble tabby! The first picture is from the day we got her, the second picture is a recent picture of her! She is a little shy initially but is so sweet and playful! She is spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, and wormed! She is great with other cats and dogs!

We have three beautiful 4 month old tabicos ready for their forever homes!
First picture is Clotho, Second is Atropos, and third is Lachesis!
These three girls were pulled from a very full shelter in a neighboring county. Atropos has a damaged eye that she is blind out of. Lachesis has a polyp which causes her breathing to be a little louder than normal.
These girls are spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, combo tested, and wormed!
They are extremely outgoing and VERY playful! They are ready for their forever homes and would be great companions for another playful cat! They have also been exposed to dogs and would do fine with them!

Atropos is a special girl looking for her forever home! She has a damaged eye, it doesn't cause her pain and was just seen by our vet Tuesday and she said she is ready for adoption! She has been spayed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated! Very sweet and playful! She would make the purrfect companion for your home!

This poor baby is Vinny. He has a ruptured eye and is at the vet right now having emergency surgery to have it removed. We are in desperate need of donations to cover his surgery! We also have 3 other cats getting examined for other issues today and we really need some donations for our veterinary bills!

Betsy is still available for adoption! This sweet, goofy girl is a 6ish month old hound mix! She is a goofy bouncy girl who is all legs! This girl needs an active home that also wants a cuddle bug! She does great with dogs and cats (although she does try to play with the cats). Send us a message if you would like an application for Betsy!

Sweet beautiful Artemis was adopted today! We got this sweet girl when she was only 1-2 weeks old! She had been overlooked at many adoption events and was finally adopted... then returned less than 12 hours later. Her new parents have fallen in love with them and we wish them the most happiness! Good luck sweet Arty! We love you but we hope you stay at this home! We can't wait for updates!

We are building feral cat shelters for the winter! If you are currently managing a feral colony of cats or have a stray and need some shelters for the winter send us a message! We are also needing some supplies donated for these shelters, if you have any storage totes with lids, large Styrofoam coolers, or straw let us know!

Meet our three tabico girls! Named after the three fates, here is Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos! These three girls are getting over URI's and Atropos does have a damaged eyes but they will be ready for adoption soon! They are VERY sweet and playful! They are already spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, combo tested, and wormed!

Neptune is a super sweet and playful young guy! He is about 6-7 months old. He had surgery to have his eye removed several weeks ago. This sweet dude will be ready for his new home soon! He is already neutered, vaccinated, and combo tested! Please share and help him find his purrfect home!
