Not the week to ask for a cheap p♡ppy! Especially demanding their health and OFA results! 🤯 Just wow......

Everyone wants OFA health tested dogs and wants them for cheap, or the same as the puppy mill down the road 🤦‍♀️

But no one understands the cost and losses involved to get there and stay there with this breed 🥺💔

We did 4 dogs in the last month, our standards are high, so not all will make the cut, no one pays me for this or replaces my pups. So you do the math 😔

Save up, and support those who do it right! Or you will be left with nothing but puppy m¡lls and BYB's b•eed¡ng your prec¡ous beans! And if you don't want to, don't complain to me about your b•eeder and what they sold you.

Okay, rant over 🤪
Have an amazing weekend! 🐾💞

Very interesting read. Thank you for putting this together

Here it is! This full-length video highlights the historical evidence of the original French Bulldog colors and those who fancied them in the Gilded Age.

***********************************************************************

The original colors of the French Bulldog were much different than what the French Bulldog Club of America would have you believe. Here are the historical foundation dogs, their documented colors, and the history behind those in the Gilded Age who loved them.

This in-depth video takes you through over two hours of historical documents and evidence of the French Bulldog's history and origins as they were introduced to America in the Gilded Age, bringing the full color of this popular breed to light.

New evidence from AKC Stud books and archives from France have revealed the original, naturally occurring colors of the foundation French Bulldogs, and many of them were "Dark Iron Gray", including the Godfather of all modern French Bulldogs, Rabot de Beaubourg.

As the controversy surrounding color and the history of the French Bulldog breed increases, many Preservationist groups point to the 1912 standard crafted by Lace Factory Tycoon, Samuel L. Goldenberg, loosely quoting parts of the standard as proof that certain coat patterns were undesirable and DQ in the show ring.

Except for one problem: the man who CRAFTED the standard change chose a SILVER brindle (son of a dark brown French Bulldog) as the 1912 FBDCA National Specialty. There is no way of explaining this contradiction, leading to a much deeper dissection of Goldenberg’s intent.

The true French Bulldog History is far more extensive than what you might have been told until now, with the original french bulldog colors being well-documented as iron gray, gray, gray brindle, brown, seal brown, mahogany, red brindle, dark brindle, black, white, cream, and tan pointed.

This video covers famous fanciers of this breed in the Gilded Age, such as Aimee Crocker, George Bennet, George Phelps, Sterling Postley, Charles Roger, Charles Monet, Charles G. Hopton, Mary Winthop Turner, Samuel L. Goldenberg and many others.

Also included are the first Dilute French Bulldog AKC Champions (yes, there are more than one), the first Blue Brindle awarded VHC at Westminster, the first Mouse French Bulldog to compete at Westminster, and multiple dilute French Bulldog champions who won the highest honors at Westminster and the FBDCA Specialty.
