So here's one off the soon to be finished "Animal friends that have lived and died at the shack by the trax"album. In which I have attempted/succeeded in making a song about every single named animal (wild and otherwise) that we've hung out with here.
This one is the absolute most ridiculous of them all. It originally sounded completely different and it was only like 4 minutes vs 14+ c**k peepin minutes. It also has 4 count em 4 kazoo solos and two mouth solos (one regular one specifically mouth bass). Then there is the part where I left a spot and even call it out to come back and add in a ditty solo on my mandolele and i never came back. Whatever. I've since decided it's the place where you..the listener will add the solo..
This was all done in one long ass take.. I built some foot drums out of trash that im playing and I have a (what I call) go-go gadget kazoo arm that is my pride and joy and allows me to sing and kazoo with unimpeded gusto..pics in comments.
most of the beginning lyrics were part of the original...normal song...everything after minute 5 is just me faking it and kinda making it. The reason it's so long is cuz I was arguing with some lady and figured if I just kept playing then she'd never get a word in edge wise..plus i was having a good time.
Original title was "Benson's Revenge- a Tellanovella in musical form about a young evil cats love (of the fast life )and loss (of his father to a gang of neighborhood raccoons and sister to illness)" (sisters name was hedges.. hence his name benson) all a true story albeit a bit embellished. id originally made it kinda Spanish flamenco style sounding but this version came our all reggae meets singer from bouncing souls for some reason. I don't know.. recording music is weird like that..
