This little blue girl will be ready to leave our nest in October. Our kittens are ready after 12 weeks of age. They get checked twice with our veterinarian Dr.Banks. Receive 2 sets of vaccines, full pcr parasite panel checked and microchiped. TICA registered. Spay/neuter agreement. Parents are genetically tested and echocardiograms clear. She came into the world on 7/11, a beautiful blue girl with a bright future ahead. As the first blue kitten in our litter, she brings a sense of empowerment and the potential for positive change. Nighttime proved challenging, but the mother cat and her kittens are recovering well. Besides one kitten that remains the same weight, all have gained weight. The mother is adapting to her new role, and we are keeping a close eye on their progress.

American animal psychologists always warn new pet cat owners about the 3/3/3 rule (3 days/ 3 weeks/ 3 months) - this is a general guideline for the adaptation period of a kitten (adult cat) after acquisition. Each pet is unique and adapts differently. Please be patient and give your new pet time to get used to it.
- - - 3 days to get out of stress. What is experienced during 3 days:
- feeling depressed;
- may feel afraid or unsure of what is happening;
- not yet comfortable being ‘himself’;
- may not want to eat or drink;
- hides under furniture;
- tests boundaries.
- - - 3 weeks to learn his daily routine. What happens during 3 weeks:
- begins to settle in;
- feels more comfortable;
- understands that this could be his forever home;
- understands his surroundings;
- gets into the rhythm of his new family;
- begins to show his true character;
- - - 3 months to start feeling at home:
- finally feels completely comfortable in his home.
