Today is a very special day for our Matilda!
Handsome Smoke came to us from a rural, high kill shelter in N.C. at about 6 months of age and already heartworm positive. He has undergone his heartworm treatment and we are expecting a clean bill of health :-) He is an incredible boy and loves every person (adult and child) and every dog he has ever met. He is approximately 35 lbs. We believe he has a little silver lab mixed with the world's sweetest dog! Even though we have had to restrict his activity due to the heartworm treatment, he never complains and is always happy. We would love to find him a special home where he can thrive and shine. We are also open to a foster to adopt arrangement. He is a little under 1 year old and really deserves to live his life in a home rather than in a kennel (no matter how nice the kennel is.) ;-) If you're interested in Smoke please contact us at 540-788-3559 or send us an email at [email protected]. You won't be sorry!
Our happy hounds enjoyed getting some special love and attention from our wonderful customers and former adopters...Andy and Monica Stassen. They take time out of their busy schedules to volunteer and drive all the way from Falls Church to take our Chance Foundation dogs on special walks on the property and give them lots of love and belly rubs. We (and the dogs) really appreciate your kindness! ❣️
We have a winner of our raffle ... Whiskey Koski, a handsome Wheaton Terrier! A big thank you to everyone who participated in our raffle. For those of you who didn't win please know that you are helping us rescue and care for dogs who need us. That has to make you feel good. :-) We hope to do another one soon. :-)
Here are some of our beautiful Chance Foundation dogs who are patiently waiting for their special someone to come along. Feel free to contact us at 540-788-3559 for more information. We have an application on our website at www.countryclubkennels.com.
My wonderful staff is working with Rusty to help gain his trust and get him to relax meeting new people. He is an adorable 2-year-old Shih Tzu who we hope one day to find the perfect home for.
These beautiful hounds have been waiting patiently since we took them in last winter! They are sweet, affectionate, gentle natured and did I mention ADORABLE? Please contact us at [email protected] or 540 788 3559 if interested. We have an adoption application on our website at www.countryclubkennels.com.
These beautiful hounds have come a long way from their previous lives living as hunting dogs sleeping on wooden pallets! Where the temperatures in the high 90s we thought it would be fun to see if they enjoyed the pool. To our surprise they all did quite well! These dogs are definitely enjoying the comforts have a see, a cozy bed and good food but most of all they love to be loved! Each of these dogs is still available for adoption through the chance foundation. Contact us at 540-788-3559 or [email protected] for more information. They have all been with us since last winter and we are hoping we will be able to find them loving homes soon.
Our sweet, girl, Tallie is finally through with her heartworm treatment and is heartworm free! She came to us about a year ago in horrible condition. She had been over used for breeding, her skin was red and raw, her toenails were growing into her pads and she was heartworm positive. She has been so appreciative of her good care and the love we have been happy to give her. Please help us find her a loving home as it would be a real shame after all she has been through to not have the opportunity to know what it's like to be a beloved member of a wonderful family. She does have an issue with her eyes which require eye drops daily. Aside from that she has been happy and healthy while with us and is ready to begin her next chapter. Please contact us at 540-788-3559 or [email protected] for more information. Thank you!
Some of our adorable, lazy hounds enjoying a little sunbathing! These dogs are all incredibly affectionate, sweet, dog friendly and love every person they meet. They have been waiting a long time for a home to call their own. Contact The Chance Foundation at 540-788-3559 or email [email protected] for more information. Thank you!
